  • Publication number: 20230201557
Abstract: A clamping module of or for a medical pump, and a method for identifying a hose clamp of a disposable infusion article insertable into the clamping module. The clamping module includes an electro-optical system for identifying the hose clamp, which has an optical marking. The electro-optical system includes a first light source for emitting at least a first light beam and a second light source for emitting at least a second light beam. The second light source is formed differently than the first light source. A photodetector receives a reflected light, and an optical window bundles the first light beam and/or the second light beam on the disposable infusion article, as well as the reflected light received by the photodetector. The method identifies the hose clamp based on a color and uses a measurement algorithm after insertion of the hose clamp into the medical pump.

  • Patent number: 11680238
Abstract: A method, and also a gas supply system without a separate humidifying apparatus, for supplying gas to a plurality of bioreactors, divides a constant gas stream with high distribution accuracy into a plurality of gas substreams having a mandated volume flow, which can be kept constant at the mandated level even when during gas supply there is fluctuation in the opposing pressure in the gas line to the respective bioreactor, and decouples a gas distribution from the opposing pressure by hydrostatic pressure compensation, with the gas distribution at the same time producing an obligatory humidification of the gas stream.

  • Patent number: 11668196
Abstract: A profiled structure for an aircraft or turbomachine is elongated in a direction in which the structure has a length exposed to an airflow and includes serrations defined by successive teeth and depressions. The serrations may be transverse to a leading edge and/or a trailing edge of the profiled structure and in the direction of elongation. Along the profiled leading edge and/or profiled trailing edge, the successive teeth and depressions may extend only over a part of the length exposed to the flow. The amplitude and/or spacing of the teeth may vary monotonically except for the few teeth nearest each end of the part, with a remaining part of the length being smooth.

  • Patent number: 11453851
Abstract: A gas supply device for operation in an incubator allowing treatment of a culture within a shaker flask with gas independently of the composition and humidity of the gas atmosphere within the incubator individually supplies each shaker flask of the incubator with gas using a gas supply clamp detachably connected to the closure cap of each flask. The gas supply clamp has at least two elastic clamping jaws and a web connecting the clamping jaws to one another. The clamping jaws exert a clamping force on the side wall of the closure cap. The clamp is held in place by the elastic clamping jaws. Above a sterile filter in the closure cap, an individual gas atmosphere for treatment of the culture in the shaker flask is produced in a recess of the web above a gas passage in the closure cap.
