Validation nodes receive data regarding a newly mined block comprising a plurality of transactions and send a delete request to a distributed memory pool to delete the plurality of transactions from the distributed memory pool. Nodes storing the distributed memory pool store a plurality of transactions, the plurality of transactions forming at least part of a distributed memory pool of transactions waiting to be mined into a block of a blockchain. The computer-implemented method further comprises receiving a delete request from a validation node of the blockchain network, the delete request identifying one or more transactions which have been included in a newly mined block, the delete request indicating that the one or more transactions should be deleted from the distributed memory pool.

The video encoder is further configured to sequentially determine an availability or unavailability of each of the plurality of nearest reference samples and to substitute a nearest reference sample being determined as unavailable by a substitution sample.     Abstract: A scanning instrument for laser-based airborne surveying comprising two wedges and a lead deflector. Each of the two wedges is rotatably mounted in a beam path of an outgoing measurement beam. The lead deflector is mounted with a fixed spatial relationship with the first of the two wedges and has a cross section smaller than the two wedges. The outgoing measurement beam first passes the lead deflector and then the two wedges. At most, a small portion of the returning radiation passes through the lead deflector, while the greater portion of the returning radiation is deflected by the two wedges without interacting with the lead deflector. The lead deflector creates a lead of the outgoing measurement beam in relation to the movement direction of the outgoing measurement beam associated with a spiral scan pattern generated by a rotation of the two wedges.
