  • Patent number: 8731093
Abstract: The present invention discloses a communication system with a data-dependent superimposed training mechanism and a communication method thereof. The system uses a precoding module installed in front of the data-dependent superimposed training mechanism to precode data by a precoding matrix. The precoding matrix is a N×N unitary matrix, which is constructed by Q×Q precoding sub-matrix. Q is the block size N divided by the channel length. The precoding matrix can achieve full frequency diversity. Any two sets of data precoded by the precoding matrix must be different from each other, such that the receiver can effectively identify the data transmitted from the transmitter and the computational complexity of the receiver is reduced.

  • Patent number: 8167540
Abstract: A system for reducing compressor noise includes a rotor having a plurality of blades. The blades have a nominal geometry characterized by a blade parameter. At least some of the blades are mistuned, such that they differ from the nominal geometry by greater than a manufacturing tolerance in the blade parameter. The blades produce shock waves at a blade passing frequency, and the mistuned blades shift acoustic energy away from the blade passing frequency to multiple lower amplitude tones at other frequencies. The system is configurable to be deployed with an inlet silencer that preferentially absorbs acoustic energy at some of the shifted frequencies.

  • Publication number: 20050080612
Abstract: The present invention relates to a spelling and encoding method for ideographic symbols, such as Chinese characters. The spelling method can provide first and second components for identifying first and second groups of ideographic symbols, wherein the two groups can have at least one common ideographic symbol correlating with the two components. For example, the two components can be a Chinese Pinyin spelling and a Four Corner Numerical Index, respectively, which can each identify a group of Chinese characters and be combined to identify one or more characters. The spelling method can further provide a third component to differentiate a plurality of ideographic symbols common to the two groups to uniquely identify each common symbol. In one embodiment, an alphanumeric spelling can be provided to uniquely identify each ideographic symbol. The encoding method can encode various alphanumeric representations of the ideographic symbols by the 7-bit ASCII standard code.

  • Patent number: 6846297
Abstract: A medicinal germfree dry smearing piece attached on a shell containing germfree medicinal solutions includes a smearing piece and a shell for containing germfree medicinal solutions. The smearing piece is attached on an intermediate portion of the shell where an easily bent neck is formed. In using, the shell is bent into two halves and folded on each other to make the neck crack open to let the solutions in the shell to flow out and at once absorbed by the smearing piece to be used for swabbing on a wound or the like. Thus the smearing piece with the shell not yet used can be carried out conveniently in a hygienic condition and with safety in use.

  • Publication number: 20040229707
Abstract: A golf club head includes a ferrule at one side for connecting a club, a striking face formed in a front side, and an angle indicating device fitted in an upper center portion of the club head easily seen by a player. The angle-indicting device has a pointing member and an angle indicating marks. Then a golf player can look at the point of the angle indicating marks where the top of the pointing member is pointing to, and adjust and confirm the angle between the striking surface of the club head and the ball according to the condition of the courses of the gold link. Thus a player can strike a ball with the best angle to achieve striking stability by means of the angle-indicating device.
