  • Publication number: 20040116205
Abstract: A shock-absorbing golf-club head includes a front recess in the striking face of a golf-club head, extending to the top and the rear portion of the striking face and communicating with a rear recess by means of plural through holes. The front recess is mounted on with a metal face plate having circumferential dented edge to be fixedly engaged with the striking face synchronously when shock-absorbing material is formed into shape and affixed to both front and rear recess so as to form a double-deck shock-absorbing layer to acquire an effect of shock-absorbing, shock-lessening and stability of controlling golf balls.

  • Patent number: 5901404
Abstract: Brushes held in a container includes a plurality of brushes, and a container storing the brushes in its interior. A spring for pushing up brushes to let one of them positioned in an upper end of the interior half pushed out of an outlet. Each brush has bristles is sealed in a housing, with their roots clamped firmly in a rear portion of the housing, which has a thin neck between a front portion and the rear portion. The neck is easily broken, letting the front portion removed to let the bristles expose out for use, with the container able to serve as a grip. After an uppermost brush in the container is used, the next one is pushed out of an outlet of the container to be used.

  • Patent number: 5744703
Abstract: A standardized test for measuring the stringiness of room temperature vulcanizable silicone sealant compositions is disclosed wherein a tube of sealant is held at a constant angle to the surface upon which the sealant is being applied. The surface is movable and once a small bead of sealant has been deposited upon the surface the surface is moved at a constant rate of speed until the sealant bead breaks off from the source. The length of any string of sealant formed thereby is measured. This measurement for a given composition is compared to the measurement for other compositions and thereby allows optimization of sealant compositions to minimize an undesirable feature.

  • Patent number: 4896981
Abstract: The present invention provides an automatic pencil which includes a coil spring sleeved around an inner tube, and a ring-shaped head portion carrying a lead pushing leg, the ring-shaped head portion being seated on an annular shoulder formed in the lower cone-shaped end of an outer casing, and the lead pushing leg begins to extend downward from the ring-shaped head portion at a location beyond the inner edge of the annular shoulder, thereby eliminating the need to provide a groove for receiving the upper side of the lead pushing leg.
