  • Patent number: 11023339
Abstract: Provided are techniques for asynchronous remote mirror cloud archival. A data mover of a remote host receives, from an asynchronous remote mirror copy system of a primary storage controller, an archive copy operation, wherein the archive copy operation identifies a list of tracks of data and a location of cloud storage in a cloud infrastructure for storing the data from the tracks. The data mover issues, to a secondary storage controller, the archive copy operation, wherein the secondary storage controller archives the data from secondary storage to the cloud storage by invoking a cloud service, wherein the secondary storage stores data of primary storage of the primary storage controller.

  • Patent number: 11023467
Abstract: A graph database for outbreak tracking and management is disclosed. In an example embodiment, an outbreak management system includes a memory device storing instructions that define a graph database for disease outbreak tracking. The instructions specify for a given host that a host node is created and an episode node is connected to the host node via a ‘case’ link. The episode node is associated with episode parameters that are related to a disease classification of the host. In addition, the instructions specify that an outbreak node is connected to the episode node via a ‘part of’ link to indicate that the host has become part of an outbreak of the disease. The outbreak node is connected to a definition node via a ‘defined as’ link. The definition node specifies disease parameters of the disease that is related to the outbreak node.

  • Patent number: 11023243
Abstract: Latency-based instruction reservation clustering in a scheduler circuit in a processor is disclosed. The scheduler circuit includes a plurality of latency-based reservation circuits each having an assigned producer instruction cycle latency. Producer instructions with the same cycle latency can be clustered in the same latency-based reservation circuit. Thus, the number of reservation entries is distributed among the plurality of latency-based reservation circuits to avoid or reduce an increase in the number of scheduling path connections and complexity in each reservation circuit to avoid or reduce an increase in scheduling latency. The scheduling path connections are reduced for a given number of reservation entries over a non-clustered pick circuit, because signals (e.g., wake-up signals, pick-up signals) used for scheduling instructions in each latency-based reservation circuit do not have to have the same clock cycle latency so as to not impact performance.

  • Patent number: 11025627
Abstract: Various systems and methods of scalable and secure resource isolation and sharing for Internet of Things (IoT) networks, are described. Techniques for requesting inter-domain resource access and enabling resource sharing with use of an inter domain token are also described. In an example, communications in an IoT network to establish connectivity between a first device in a first domain and a second device in a second domain may include: receiving, from the first device at a collaboration cloud service, a request to access a resource of the second device; requesting and receiving, from an authorization provider, an inter-domain authorization token; and requesting, from the second device, access to the resource using the inter-domain authorization token; communications from the first device to access the second device are then performed between the first device and the second device based on a session key obtained with the inter-domain authorization token.

  • Patent number: 11021236
Abstract: A method of supplying hydraulic power via a zonal hydraulic system to an aircraft having a plurality of operating phases includes determining a current operating phase of the aircraft and setting a power limit (e.g., a pressure set point and/or flow limitation) for at least one hydraulic power unit based on the current operating phase. The hydraulic system includes a plurality of hydraulic zones. Each of the hydraulic zones includes a local controller, a hydraulic power unit controlled by the local controller, and at least one actuator powered by the hydraulic power unit. Energy savings may be realized by altering the pressure set point for and/or limiting the flow to hydraulic systems in inactive and/or less active zones. The zonal hydraulic system may be reconfigured for safety based on sensed failures and/or during emergency or alternate power conditions with limited available power. Duty cycles for multiple electric motor driven pumps of the system may be balanced.

  • Patent number: 11022240
Abstract: A seal assembly for a propulsion system couples a plurality of manifolds of a manifold assembly of the propulsion system generally in fluid communication. Each of the manifolds defines a first end and a second end. The seal assembly includes a coupling member attaching the first end and the second end of the manifold assembly together in fluid communication; one or more seals disposed between the coupling member and at least one of the first end and the second end of the manifold; and a retainer adjacent to the coupling member and the seal. The retainer defines a radial wall and an axial wall, in which the radial wall is extended generally from one or more of the first end and the second end of the manifold alongside the coupling member and the seal, and the axial wall is extended generally from the radial wall alongside the coupling member and the seal.
