  • Publication number: 20170328681
Abstract: An ordnance munition is included in an intelligent ordnance projectile delivery system and equipped with targeting and guidance systems that allow the ordnance munition to collaborate with other devices to intelligently select targets and/or to guide the ordnance munition to its selected target. The ordnance munition may determine its approximate current location, form a communication group with a wireless transceiver that is in close proximity, and send the approximate current location to the wireless transceiver and/or other devices in the communication group. In response, the ordnance munition may receive location information from the wireless transceiver and/or other devices that are in the communication group. The ordnance munition may determine its more precise location based on the information received from the wireless transceiver, and alter its flight path based in the updated and more precise location.

  • Publication number: 20170330007
Abstract: A reconfigurable sled for a mobile device with camera is provided. The reconfigurable sled may be moved into different configurations in order to facilitate either normal or specialized use. For example, in a first configuration, the mobile device's camera is unobstructed and imaging may proceed normally. In a second configuration, on the other hand, the camera's imaging direction may be repositioned by a reflective element in the camera's optical path. The reflective element provides feedback to the mobile device via visible markings that may be imaged by the camera and detected by the mobile device. If the mobile device determines that the mirror is in the optical path, then the mobile device may respond to accommodate the mirror and enable a function, like reading an indicium.

  • Publication number: 20170326512
Abstract: The enclosed offset pail mixer is an invention which allows for safe, efficient and clean mixing of liquid solutions and liquid mechanical mixtures. The mixer includes a moveable head assembly that is constrained to two positions. In the operating position, the mixer geometry substantially encloses the moving parts of the mixer, preventing personnel from coming in contact with moving parts. The geometry also acts to contain dusts and vapors. A safety control circuit ensures that the impeller motor will not operate unless the vessel and the shroud are both in their respective operating position. In the operating position, the impeller shaft axis is strategically offset from the vessel axis to reduce large vortices and associated aeration. When the movable head is in the retracted position, the impeller is positioned over a removable drip cup to prevent residue from dripping on the floor or machine frame.

  • Publication number: 20170328543
Abstract: An LED lighting device with an elongated lighting cavity formed by two opposed elongated curved or angled structures is disclosed. The opposed elongated curved or angled structures are positioned such that the concave surfaces or acute angles of the two opposed structures are juxtaposed with respect to each to form the elongated lighting cavity having elongated openings. The LED lighting device included arrays of LED light engines attached to one or more surfaces of one or more of the two opposed elongated structures within the lighting cavity to emit light from the elongated openings.
