  • Publication number: 20220292372
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for processing approval requests using application-independent processing system. The processing system provides a configuration file that may be used to define a process. Each application, or each process in an application, may define its own process parameters in the configuration file. The use of this architecture allows for the processing system to be used with multiple applications. When an approval request is received, the processing system obtains the configuration file of the process to which the approval request corresponds and executes the process accordingly. The processing system also facilitates automatic approval of an approval request using pre-authorized approval information that is provided by an approver independent of the approval request. If an approval request satisfies conditions defined in the pre-authorized approval information, the approval request is automatically approved without user intervention.

  • Publication number: 20220294707
Abstract: Disclosed communication flow modeling solution is significantly streamlined in a user friendly way to shield users from the technical complexities usually required. At design time, an orchestration flow modeling application receives user instruction to open or create a communication flow modeling project. Per configuration specific to an enterprise associated with the user, a custom drag-and-drop communication flow modeling environment with a canvas and modeling entities is provided. Responsive to the user dragging and dropping a set of modeling entities from the menu onto the communication flow modeling canvas and drawing connections between them, the orchestration flow modeling application logically connects the modeling entities to form a valid communication flow and stores it in a database. The communication flow undergoes an approval process. Once approved, it is activated for execution by an orchestration server.

  • Publication number: 20220289268
Abstract: A center load rack and pinion steering mechanism is disclosed. The mechanism comprises a center load steering rack housing mounted to a vehicle frame, with a longitudinal slot through the front surface thereof, the slot being fitted with a bushing of a material that is resistant to damage from heat and bending. A pair of center link mounting bolts secure a center link and a center link pad to the rack wherein the center link pad extends through the bushing such that the upper and lower surfaces of the center link pad engage the upper and lower inner surfaces of the bushing, respectively, to prevent upward and downward movement and twisting of the center link and the center link pad relative to the rack in response to steered wheels of the vehicle contacting rough or uneven terrain while in use to prevent damage to components of the steering mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20220293390
Abstract: Electron beam position, size, or shape can be estimated by deflecting the beam to a plurality of apertures, either continuously or step-wise. Beam portions transmitted, absorbed, or scattered can be used to assess position, size, and shape. In other examples, a beam sensing aperture and the beam are oscillated with respect to each other by moving the aperture or varying the beam deflection or both. The beam can be directed to segmented detectors such as a quad detector, and currents in the segments used to assess beam position, shape, or size. The segments can be formed from a single conductive sheet on which the segments are defined but remain attached. After the conductive sheet is secured with an insulative adhesive, portions of the conductive sheet are broken away, leaving aligned segments.

  • Publication number: 20220290782
Abstract: A clamp includes first and second bands, a pair of strut attachment legs, a screw, and a screw housing. Each band has a first end and a second end. The first band defines slots extending across a width thereof and disposed adjacent to the second end thereof. Each strut attachment leg is fixed to the first end of one of the bands. The screw housing receives the second ends of the bands and captures the screw while allowing the screw to rotate. The clamp secures a tube to a strut when the clamp is placed over the tube, the strut attachment legs are positioned relative to the strut so that notches in the strut attachment legs receive at least one of the flanges on the strut, and the screw is rotated to draw the first band further into the screw housing and thereby tighten the clamp around the tube.
