  • Publication number: 20220266971
Abstract: A stowable propulsion system for a marine vessel. A base is configured to be coupled to the marine vessel. A shaft has a proximal end and a distal end with a length axis defined therebetween, where the shaft is pivotably coupled to the base and pivotable about a transverse axis between a stowed position and a deployed position, and where the distal end is closer to the marine vessel when in the stowed position than in the deployed position. A gearset is engaged between the shaft and the base, where the gearset rotates the shaft about the length axis when the shaft is pivoted between the stowed position and the deployed position. A propulsion device is coupled to the distal end of the shaft. The propulsion device is configured to propel the marine vessel in water when the shaft is in the deployed position.

  • Publication number: 20220271975
Abstract: Network interface provisioning of containerized instances based on tenant policies. A network interface assignment process (NIAP) receives a first request to assign a network interface to a first containerized instance comprising at least one container. The NIAP determines that a first tenant of a plurality of different tenants is associated with the first containerized instance. The NIAP accesses a first network assignment tenant policy (NATP) that corresponds to the first tenant. Based on the first NATP, the NIAP assigns, to the first containerized instance, a first network interface via which the first containerized instance can communicate with other containerized instances associated with the first tenant.

Abstract: A system configured to monitor the structural health of reactor vessel internals of a nuclear reactor is disclosed herein. The system includes a memory configured to store historical information associated with past performance of the nuclear reactor, and an anomaly detection subsystem including a control circuit configured to receive a signal from a sensor. The anomaly detection subsystem is configured to determine, via the control circuit, a characteristic of a vibrational response of the reactor vessel internals based, at least in part, on the signal; access, via the control circuit, the historical information stored in the memory; compare, via the control circuit, the determined characteristic to the historical information stored in the memory; and determine, via the control circuit, a condition of the reactor vessel internals based, at least in part, on the comparison of the determined characteristic and the historical information.

  • Patent number: 11423073
Abstract: An audio-visual management system and process for facilitating comprehension of electronic documents. As an example, a user may access contents of an electronic document via a user interface and request a speech-synthesized recitation of any text in the electronic document. In addition, the user interface can include a navigation tool configured to visually represent significant events in the electronic document via selectable indicators, including but not limited to comments, slides, images, graphs, and/or other internal contextual markers. These indicators can serve as navigation options that can provide guidance to users as they listen to a reading of the electronic document. User selection of an indicator can initiate an audio presentation of textual content that is directly associated with the specified event. In addition, users can view availability of others currently listening to the document and connect with them to create a joint listening experience.

  • Patent number: 11423009
Abstract: A method is provided for preventing dark data in a data set. At a time t1, a first version of the data set is received. The first version is analyzed and its parameters are gathered in a first statistical profile. The first statistical profile is stored. At a time t2, a second version of the data set is received. The second version is analyzed and its parameters are gathered in a second statistical profile. The second statistical profile is stored. The first and second statistical profiles are compared and a similarity index is created. If the similarity index exceeds a pre-set threshold, dissimilarity is flagged and a responsive action is taken.
