  • Publication number: 20110130567
Abstract: A process for stereoselective synthesis of a compound of Formula (X) wherein: R1 is an aryl group substituted with one to three substituent groups, wherein each substituent group of R1 is independently C1-C5 alkyl, aminocarbonyl, alkylaminocarbonyl, dialkylaminocarbonyl, halogen, carboxy, cyano, or trifluoromethyl, wherein each substituent group of R1 is optionally independently substituted with one to three substituents selected from C1-C3 alkyl, C1-C3 alkoxy, phenyl, and alkoxyphenyl; R2 and R3 are each independently C1-C5 alkyl; R4 is C1-C5 alkyl optionally independently substituted with one to three substituent groups, wherein each substituent group of R4 is independently C1-C3 alkyl, hydroxy, halogen, amino, or oxo; and R5 is a heteroaryl group substituted with one to three substituent groups, wherein each substituent group of R5 is independently C1-C5 alkyl, aminocarbonyl, alkylaminocarbonyl, dialkylaminocarbonyl, alkylsulfonylamino, aminosulfonyl, C1-C5 alkylaminosulfonyl, C1-C5 dialky

  • Patent number: 7919244
Abstract: A nucleic acid detection method involving the direct generation of a measurable signal, by the action of an enzyme with 3?-5? nuclease activity, and the applications for it, the signal generated can be detectable and quantifiable and can be carried out in real-time, in this method, the nucleic acid is placed in contact with at least one oligonucleotide that does not hybridize perfectly with it, so that the enzyme will split it at the unpaired bases generating the signal, the oligonucleotide can be labeled.

  • Publication number: 20100222585
Abstract: The invention relates to improved methods of preparing dihydrothienopyrimidines of formula 1, and intermediates thereof, (I) wherein X is SO or SO2, preferably SO, and wherein RA, R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 have the meanings given in the description. The methods according to this invention are more suitable for large-scale synthesis of said pounds than prior methods because the new synthetic process avoids distillation and chromatographic purification between steps and results in a higher overall yield of the desired product.
