  • Patent number: 7015313
Abstract: The present invention relates to a lectin protein prepared from Korean marine crab Philyra pisum, process for preparing the same and the use thereof. This protein can be used as a diagnosing agent or a carrier protein that chemically binds to various anti-cancer drugs owing to its capability that specifically recognizes N-glycolylneuraminic acid, and, in addition, used as an anti-cancer drug in view of its anti-proliferation effect.

  • Publication number: 20050116447
Abstract: A front pillar trim mounting structure coupled to a front pillar inner panel in a vehicle having a curtain air bag module is provided. In a preferred system of the invention, a front pillar trim is coupled to a front pillar inner panel by inserting a coupling protrusion (formed at the front pillar trim) into an insertion fixture (formed at the front pillar inner panel). When the airbag cushion inflates, the front pillar trim is not completely separated from the front pillar inner panel by the coupling force of the coupling protrusion disposed in the insertion fixture.

  • Patent number: 6863300
Abstract: An automobile pillar air bag device provided along the roof side rail protects a passenger from impact during a broadside collision. The automobile pillar air bag device includes: a bag, a sensor, and a gas supply section for injecting gas into an air bag. Further included is a pillar trim deviation-prevention mechanism that includes a strap. Both ends of the strap being connected with the front pillar and the pillar trim by screws. The strap connects the front pillar and an upper portion of the pillar trim. Also, a connection member is bound with the screws. Additionally, the connection member arranged at the front pillar side of the strap is formed integrally with a fixing boss for the front pillar and is coupled to a supporting piece cut out and separated from the fixing boss when the bag is expanded.

  • Publication number: 20040113401
Abstract: A curtain air bag device protects passengers within a car by preventing a front pillar trim from being detached from a front pillar panel upon the deployment of a curtain air bag. The front pillar trim is attached to a flexible curtain air bag back plate in which a curtain air bag is embedded. A space is provided through which the curtain air bag deploys. The front pillar trim is attached to the front pillar by a simple fixing means, such as a screw.

  • Publication number: 20030185856
Abstract: The present invention provides the method for the production of the egg containing anti-pathogenic bacteria specific antibodies (IgY) preventing gastritis, diarrhea, and food poisoning by immunizing young hens with antigen proteins of E. coli causing enteritis, Helicobacter pylori causing gastritis, and Salmonella enteritidis and Salmonella typhimurium, causing food poisoning, simultaneously. This invention also relates to composition containing the specific IgY antibodies described above and the foodstuff such as the yogurt and ice cream containing the anti-pathogenic IgY.

  • Patent number: 6087884
Abstract: There is disclosed a bifrequency output device. The bifrequency output device comprises Josephson junctions, a resistor for generating a given voltage in response to a pulse current which is supplied from the outside, and a time delay element for delaying the voltage generated by the resistor during a given time period and then providing it to the superconducting elements, so that the bifrequency output device outputs different low frequency and low voltage and high frequency and high voltage depending on the initial condition of the superconducting elements constituting the Josephson junctions and the voltage with a given delay time which is induced to the superconducting elements.
