A protocol for communication in a bridged network, comprising a Talker device sending an SRP Talker Advertise message for streaming data to a Listener device. The Talker Advertise message includes communication path information from the Talker device to the Listener device. A communication path from the Talker device to the Listener device is selected based on said path metrics, for streaming data between the Talker device and the Listener device.
