  • Publication number: 20070163359
Abstract: The invention relates to a magnetic inductive flowmeter comprising: a measuring distance that is surrounded by a wall; a magnetic field generating device, and; an electrode device, which has at least one electrode on the inside of the wall and an electrode connection on the outside of the wall. The aim of the invention is to simplify the assembly of the inventive flowmeter. To this end, the electrode connection is connected to the electrode by means of a plug-type connection, and the electrode connection fixes the electrode to the wall.

  • Publication number: 20060278068
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sound controller system including at least one distance sensor provided to establish at least one distance representing signal, at least one mapper provided to map values of at least one of the distance representing signals into values of at least one control signal, the values of the control signal being within a predetermined interval, at least one interpreter provided to recognise occurrences of at least one predetermined distance variation pattern and on the basis thereof establishing at least one interpretation signal, and at least one sound controller provided to process at least one audio representing signal at least partly on the basis of at least one of the control signals and at least one of the interpretation signals. The present invention further relates to a method of controlling a sound controller.

  • Publication number: 20060281746
Abstract: The present invention relates to cyclopropyl derivatives of formula (I) and salt thereof. These compounds are NK3 receptor antagonists and may therefore be useful for treatment of diseases where the NK3 receptor is implicated, e.g. psychotic disorders.

  • Publication number: 20060252156
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of mixing large numbers of heterologous genes, which are located on artificial chromsomes. The methods of the present invention are useful for evolution of cells and whole genomes to acquire new functionality(ies), such as the ability to synthesise novel secondary metabolites and/or the evolution of novel metabolic pathways. In particular the methods may involve mating or fusing two populations of cells, each population comprising different combinations of heterologous genes. Subsequently, desirable cells may be selected. In embodiments of the invention the heterologous genes are comprised within expression cassettes. The expression cassette can be in the form of a concatermer, and can be cut out using a restriction enzyme in order to make new combinations of expression cassettes.

  • Publication number: 20050158860
Abstract: The present invention relates to evolution of a cell or a composition of cells having a desired property or functionally. The principle behind the evolution of cells according to the invention is to produce a great diversity of genes in each cell subjected to evolution and a great diversity of genes among the cells in a composition according to the invention and to exchange the genes between the cells from time to time. In preferred embodiments the genes are arranged in expression cassettes in concatemers in the cells, as well as in artificial chromosomes.
