  • Patent number: 11187560
Abstract: A traverse mechanism for measuring flow characteristics in a fluid flow path is provided. The traverse mechanism includes a rotating member configured to rotate 360 degrees about an axis in a circumferential direction. The traverse mechanism also includes a probe coupled to the rotating member. The probe extends in a radial direction relative to the axis through a portion the rotating member into the fluid flow path. Rotation of the rotating member enables the probe to map or measure one or more flow characteristic in the fluid flow path 360 degrees about the axis in the circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 11183001
Abstract: An electric vehicle charging station network includes multiple electric vehicle charging stations belonging to multiple charging station hosts. Each host controls one or more charging stations. A charging station network server provides an interface that allows each of the hosts to define one or more pricing specifications for charging electric vehicles on one or more of their electric vehicle charging stations belonging to that host. The pricing specifications are applied to the charging stations such that a cost of charging electric vehicles using those charging stations is calculated according to the pricing specifications.

  • Patent number: 11144669
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer-program products are directed to a Privacy Engine for evaluating initial electronic documents to identify document content categories for portions of content within the electronic documents, with respect to extracted document structures and document positions, that may include privacy information for possible redaction via visual modification. The Privacy Engine builds a content profile based on detecting information at respective portions of electronic document content that indicate one or more pre-defined categories and/or sub-categories. For each respective portion of electronic document content, the Privacy Engine applies a machine learning model that corresponds with the indicated category (or categories and sub-categories) to determine a probability value of whether the respective portion of content includes data considered likely to be privacy information.

  • Patent number: 10931516
Abstract: Some examples relate to detecting network link failure. In an example, a determination may be made at a first network device on a network regarding an average round-trip delay time (RTD) between the first network device and a second network device over a given time interval during a given period of time. Then, for the given time interval, a keepalive packet may be sent from the first network device to the second network device at the average RTD of the given time interval for a keepalive time. In response to a determination, by the first network device that there is no acknowledgement of the keepalive packet from the second network device during the keepalive time, a network link between the first network device and the second network device may be identified as failed.

  • Patent number: 10924977
Abstract: The disclosure relates in some aspects to forbidden area procedures and connection release management for a user terminal (UT). Forbidden area-related procedures include, for example, using a special paging area code (PAC) in conjunction with a forbidden area, defining a location reporting threshold for a UT based on the proximity of the UT to a forbidden area, or using a default paging area code if a service restriction for a UT has ended. Connection release management includes, for example, a UT sending a request to cause the release of a Radio Connection that the UT no longer needs, or a UT sending a Location Indication (e.g., including a flag requesting release of a connection) to release the connection used for location reporting when a UT is done sending the location information and is going to go back to idle mode.

  • Patent number: 10856209
Abstract: The disclosure relates in some aspects to managing paging area information for a user terminal (UT) and connection signaling. In some aspects, paging area information is provided for an idle UT by defining a default paging area code (PAC) that is known by the network and the UT. In some aspects, paging area information is communicated via connection signaling. In some aspects, connection signaling may be used to force a UT to invoke an update procedure (e.g., a reconnection).

  • Patent number: 10731388
Abstract: A latch described herein comprises a ratchet movable between a primary closed position, a secondary closed position and an open position. The ratchet is biased towards the open position for facilitating travel of a striker in a fishmouth of the latch to the secondary closed position. The latch includes a pawl movable between a primary locking position, a secondary locking position and an unlocking position. The pawl is biased towards the primary locking position and has a pawl locking surface for holding the ratchet in the primary closed position and the secondary closed position. The latch includes a lift lever biased towards the open position for moving the striker in the fishmouth away from the secondary closed position and towards the open position when the pawl is in the unlocking position. The striker is further from the primary position when in the open position compared to the secondary closed position.
