  • Publication number: 20200073769
Abstract: Example implementations relate to management of clusters. A cluster recovery manager may comprise a processing resource; and a memory resource storing machine-readable instructions to cause the processing resource to: adjust, based on a monitored degree of performance of a controller of a controller cluster, a state of the controller to one of a first state and a second state; and reassign a corresponding portion of a plurality of APs managed by the controller periodically to a different controller until the state of the controller is determined to be adjustable to the first state. The reassignment can be triggered responsive to a state adjustment of the controller from the first state to the second state.

  • Publication number: 20200059295
Abstract: The disclosure relates in some aspects to forbidden area procedures and connection release management for a user terminal (UT). Forbidden area-related procedures include, for example, using a special paging area code (PAC) in conjunction with a forbidden area, defining a location reporting threshold for a UT based on the proximity of the UT to a forbidden area, or using a default paging area code if a service restriction for a UT has ended. Connection release management includes, for example, a UT sending a request to cause the release of a Radio Connection that the UT no longer needs, or a UT sending a Location Indication (e.g., including a flag requesting release of a connection) to release the connection used for location reporting when a UT is done sending the location information and is going to go back to idle mode.

Abstract: In an example, an access point includes a first and second Ethernet port, a processing resource and a memory resource storing machine readable instructions. The machine readable instructions may be to cause the processing resource to create a first communication channel between the access point and a first network zone using the first Ethernet port and to create a second communication channel between the access point and a second network zone using the second Ethernet port. The first and second network zones may be independently configured with respective first and second zone controllers and the first and second communication channels may exist simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 10389742
Abstract: Disclosed is a system for detecting security threats in a local network. A security analytics system collects data about entities in the local network. The security analytics system parses the raw data into data fields. The security analytics system identifies a subset of the data fields based on the relevance of the data fields to detecting security threats in the local network. The security analytics system generates filtered data containing the subset of data fields and generates structured data based on the filtered data. The security analytics system identifies relationships between the plurality of entities, generates a set of features based on the structured data and the identified relationships, and generates one or more threat scores based on the set of features. The security analytics system detects malicious behavior performed by an entity in the local network based on the generated threat scores.

  • Publication number: 20190253952
Abstract: The disclosure relates in some aspects to managing paging area information for a user terminal (UT) and connection signaling. In some aspects, paging area information is provided for an idle UT by defining a default paging area code (PAC) that is known by the network and the UT. In some aspects, paging area information is communicated via connection signaling. In some aspects, connection signaling may be used to force a UT to invoke an update procedure (e.g., a reconnection).

  • Patent number: 10305922
Abstract: Disclosed is a system for detecting security threats in a local network. A security analytics system collects data about entities in the local network. The security analytics system identifies the entities in the raw data and determines a set of properties about each of the identified entities. The entity properties contain information about the entity and can be temporary or permanent properties about the entity. The security analytics system determines relationships between the identified entities and can be determined based on the entity properties for the identified properties. An entity graph is generated that describes the entity relationships, wherein the nodes of the entity graph represent entities and the edges of the entity graph represent entity relationships. The security analytics system provides a user interface to a user that contains the entity graph and the relationships described therein.
