  • Patent number: 11968198
Abstract: The disclosed technology provides solutions for performing rapid authentication and authorization for distributed containerized microservices. In some aspects, a process of the technology can include steps for: associating a service type with a set of microservices or service pods, detecting deployment of a first microservice on a first host, and receiving an authentication and authorization state from a first virtual network edge (VNE) of the first host. In some aspects, the process can further include steps for distributing the authentication state to a second VNE on a second host, wherein the authentication state is configured to facilitate authentication of one or more subsequent microservices instantiated on the second host by the second VNE. • Patent number: 11799730
Abstract: A network device determines when multiple users each connect to a network using one or more devices. The network device obtains device or network-related parameters associated with the one or more devices and generates profiling vectors for each of the multiple users, that connects to the network using the one or more devices, to produce multiple profiling vectors. The network device clusters the multiple profiling vectors to identify cluster centers associated with a plurality of user groups, and determines first users of the multiple users for, or with, whom to perform certain actions or activities based on the first users' with one or more of the plurality of user groups. The network device performs the certain actions or activities with respect to the determined first users.

  • Patent number: 11704467
Abstract: Embodiments provide for building a global clock tree. In embodiments, an example method includes inserting clock drivers at symmetric locations in one or more hierarchy levels of a plurality of hierarchy levels of an integrated circuit (IC) design. The example method further includes generating one or more routes by routing one or more nets within or across the one or more hierarchy levels of the plurality of hierarchy levels. The example method further includes matching symmetric routes of the one or more routes at each of the one or more hierarchy levels irrespective of a number of physical hierarchies each associated net spans. The example method further includes placing one or more ports at one or more signal entry points where routes of the one or more routes cross physical hierarchy blocks.

  • Publication number: 20220173317
Abstract: The generation of entangled photons is provided by two-photon emission by an emission center immersed in an optical microcavity (MC). The MC is designed to reduce or to suppress the emission of single photons at the fundamental emission wavelength (?g) of the emitter and increase the emission for the two-photon emission wavelength (2?g). A reflector is added only to reflect single photons and will not reflect the biphotons.

  • Publication number: 20220037546
Abstract: A solar cell includes a doped CdTe layer; a graphene layer over the CdTe layer; and metal contacts over the graphene layer. Advantageously, the metal contacts are composed of Pt or MoO3-x. The doped CdTe layer can be composed of a p-doped CdTe layer, and the solar cell comprises an n-doped CdS layer beneath the CdTe layer. The solar cell can include a conducting oxide layer beneath the CdS layer. The conducting oxide layer can be composed of SnO2:F. The solar cell can include a glass layer beneath the conducting oxide layer. The graphene contacting the MoO contacts particularly alleviates the issue of the inability of prior CdTe solar cells to collect holes and could increase efficiency by about 5%.
