  • Patent number: 12258749
Abstract: A hanger for attaching a structural beam to a building substructure has a first panel spaced from a second panel with a web extending therebetween. The web includes a bias member or compression member for biasing a beam upward. The web may include an opening through the bias member for receipt of a fastener driven from underneath the web into a beam received by the web, whereby driving of the fastener into the beam pulls the beam downward against the bias of the compression member. Additional versions exist with different leveraging surfaces to assist the fastener in pulling the beam downward. The hanger may also include one or more openings in the side panels, each opening associating with an opening in a rear panel to receive a fastener driven obliquely through a side panel opening into a beam and a building support member to attach the beam.

  • Publication number: 20240261943
Abstract: A fastener installation assembly has a head with a fastener opening and a connector for connecting the head to a driving tool so that a fastener can be driven through the hole. A guide assembly with a locator is pivotally mounted to the head. The locator may be removable from the guide assembly and movable so that its locator surface is movable relative to a guide surface of the guide assembly. The locator may include a locator guide that is movable relative to the locator so that a position of an end of the locator guide relative to the locator surface is adjustable. The locator guide may be removable from the locator. The guide assembly is pivotable between multiple angular positions to vary the angle at which a fastener is driven into building materials which the guide assembly and locator engage.

  • Patent number: 11975424
Abstract: An adaptor for a fastener driver assembly employs a bi-positionable angle guide assembly mounted to a head having an entry reference surface defining an opening for a fastener. The adaptor provides a proper location and entry angle for the fastener for implementing various structural connections. A pivotal angle guide has a pair of reference engagement edges functionally configured to engage either an upper horizontal member or a lower horizontal member. A locator having a location reference is mounted to the guide assembly. In one mode, the reference edges, together with the location reference, define a proper entry location and normal angle for connecting a horizontal member, which may be either an upper plate or a lower plate, to a rim board or other structural member. The selected adaptor position is achieved by securing the adaptor in one of two stable angular positions relative to the drive axis of the fastener driver assembly.

  • Publication number: 20240011287
Abstract: A floating connection fastening system employs a semi-flexible floating bushing having a sleeve with an axial slot which captures a fastener having a head, an unthreaded shank portion, a threaded portion and an intermediate reamer. An adapter mounts to the bushing/fastener assembly and receives a driver bit. The adapter defines an offset clearance. The floating connection is installed by driving the fastener through a non-load bearing member so as to form a bore and embed the fastener into a load bearing member. The floating bushing has a flange which engages the surface of the non-load bearing member. The installation may be performed in essentially a one-step procedure.

  • Patent number: 11808034
Abstract: A floating connection fastening system employs a semi-flexible floating bushing having a sleeve that may have an axial slot which captures a fastener having a head, an unthreaded shank portion and a threaded portion. The sleeve may have an outer primary surface and a plurality of protuberances that project outward from the outer primary surface. An offset cap mounts to the bushing/fastener assembly and receives a driver bit. The offset cap defines an offset clearance for installation of the fastener and bushing. The floating connection is installed by driving the fastener through a non-load bearing member so as to form a bore and threadably engage a load bearing member. The floating bushing has a flange which engages the surface of the non-load bearing member, and the sleeve is entirely received in the formed bore.

  • Publication number: 20230169448
Abstract: Examples provide on-time delivery prediction generation using a machine learning element for orders obtained from an order management component. The obtained order is analyzed to identify a plurality of order attributes. An initial value for each order attribute in the plurality of order attributes is calculated based on sensor data and telemetry data. An initial order-score for the obtained order is determined based on the initial values for each order attribute in the plurality of order attributes. An alternative order-score for the order is calculated after identifying an order attribute variable for the order and calculating updated values for each order attributes in the plurality of order attributes. After outputting the initial order-score and the alternative order-score for the order, with an indication of the order attribute variable associated with the alternative order-score, feedback for the order is received.

  • Patent number: 11475395
Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing delivery vehicle resources (e.g. a plurality of vehicles) are described herein. Available time slots for the plurality of vehicles are determined and presented to a user. In response to receiving a delivery order indicating a selected time slot, the delivery order is assigned to a vehicle from the plurality of vehicles based on a time slot indicated in the delivery order and a set of delivery parameters. A delivery route is calculated for each vehicle having a delivery order based on the set of delivery parameters. An optimized delivery route is calculated for each vehicle having a delivery order based on the set of delivery parameters.

  • Publication number: 20200118071
Abstract: Examples provide machine language (“ML”)-powered on-time delivery prediction generation for virtual orders obtained from an order management component (“OMC”). Predictions based on order factors deterministic to on-time delivery are output to the OMC. Predictions become increasingly accurate over time based on the accuracy of past delivery predictions and give the probabilistic chance of on-time delivery (the “order-score”) in real-time before an order for goods and/or services is dispatched. The OMC uses the order-score to react preemptively to mitigate delay factors on orders likely to arrive late, increasing the probability of on-time delivery. Customers are given confidence predicted arrival times are accurate enough for scheduling purposes. Providers more easily maintain and grow good reputations and revenue.
