  • Patent number: 6622979
Abstract: A locking hook assembly is provided for securely displaying merchandise on a vertical support. The locking hook assembly generally comprises a mounting bracket structured for connection to the vertical support. A hook of generally circular cross-section has an inner end fixed to the mounting bracket and projects outwardly therefrom to an outer end. The hook's outer end has a reduced diameter portion of generally semi-circular cross-section, and the reduced diameter portion includes a notch. To prevent removal of merchandise at the outer end, a lock has a semi-circular opening shaped to receive the reduced diameter portion and selectively engage the notch.

  • Patent number: 6581314
Abstract: A product information display apparatus is provided to display primary and secondary product information. The display apparatus generally comprises a label holder and a sign holder. The label holder includes a sleeve having front and rear walls defining an interior pocked sized to receive a label having primary product information. The sign holder is structured for selective attachment to the label holder to position a sign adjacent the front wall of the sleeve, the sign having secondary product information. Preferably, the sign holder has a general C-shape with the free ends of the C-shape defining a throat sized smaller than a height of the sleeve. Also, the general C-shape is preferably defined by a pair of rear walls connected by a front wall, the front wall spaced from the pair of rear walls a distance similar to a thickness of the sleeve to securely position the sign.

  • Publication number: 20030080265
Abstract: A mounting bracket generally comprises a plate and a pair of laterally spaced prongs connected to the plate. Each prong has a first portion extending rearwardly and a second portion extending downwardly. The second portion of each prong has a vertical height less than or equal to a diameter of the mounting apertures, whereby the bracket may be attached to the vertical support without rotating the bracket, thereby saving retail space. An interior chamber is defined by the rear surface of the plate and the inner surfaces of the prongs. The interior chamber has a horizontal width less than or equal to the thickness of the vertical support such that the rear and inner surfaces firmly engage the vertical support and attach the mounting bracket thereto. Preferably, the bracket further includes a second pair of laterally spaced prongs structured similarly to the first pair of prongs but vertically spaced therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20030071181
Abstract: A mounting back is provided for mounting a display hook to a vertical support having spaced apertures. The mounting back generally includes a plate and a pair of prongs. The plate has a front surface constructed to mount the display hook thereto. The pair of prongs are for mounting the back to the vertical support via the apertures. Each prong includes a first portion extending rearwardly from the plate and a second portion extending upwardly from the first portion. Each first portion of the pair of prongs defines a downwardly opening notch therein.

  • Patent number: 6378828
Abstract: A display apparatus mounting bracket, adapted for attachment to a crossbar, is provided generally having a U-shaped bracket having a front plate and a flange, the front plate adapted to mount display apparatus thereto, the flange having a top portion projecting away from the front plate and a rear portion disposed generally parallel to the face. The inner surfaces of the front plate and flange define an interior space for receiving the crossbar, and the downward ends of the front plate and rear portion of the flange define an entrance to the interior space. The structure of the rear portion of the flange provides a high load-bearing capacity of the mounting bracket. The entrance of the bracket provides a snap-fit with the crossbar providing a snug fitting interior space for receiving the crossbar, thereby safely and securely retaining the crossbar within the interior space when snapped into place.

  • Patent number: 6367749
Abstract: The present invention provides a stand base comprising a central hub and a plurality of legs removably attached to the central hub. Each of the legs depends radially outward and downwardly from the central hub. The base stand is adapted to receive the central vertical support of a display rack and provide both lateral and vertical support thereto. The plurality of legs may be detached from the central hub and packaged together in a nested configuration that is compact for shipping and storage. Each of the plurality of legs has an arcuate shape so that the plurality of legs provide a natural resiliency and upward bias when a load is placed on the display rack. The base provides support in either a normal-load mode or a high-load mode for improved vertical and lateral support of the display rack.

  • Patent number: 6029827
Abstract: A molded plastic hanger for displaying articles in front of a generally upright panel made of paperboard or the like. The hanger includes a clip having a slot sized to receive an edge portion of the panel and an elongated arm for supporting the articles. Relatively small teeth are integrally molded in the clip. The teeth are adapted to allow the clip to slip onto the edge of the panel and then to bite into the panel so as to resist removal of the hanger from the panel.

  • Patent number: 5971173
Abstract: A shelf divider includes a front rail which extends along the length of a shelf and one or more divider arms releasably secured to the front rail and extending toward the back of the shelf. The front rail is formed with upper and lower clips which project generally upwardly from the back surface of the front rail and which are formed along the length of the rail. Each divider arm is formed with a snap clip and a finger which extend generally downwardly from the forward end of the divider arm and which are configured to engage the upwardly projecting upper clip and lower clip, respectively. The divider arm is secured to the front rail by moving the divider arm in a downward direction from a slightly raised position with the front end of the divider arm adjacent the back surface of the front rail. As the divider arm approaches the shelf, the finger slidably engages the lower clip and the snap clip resiliently interlocks with the upper clip.
