  • Publication number: 20130334001
Abstract: A connecting device (1) for the rotationally fixed connection of first and second shafts (2, 3) that can rotate relative to one another. The connecting device (1) comprises an axially movable connecting element (5) designed such that, in a first axial position (A), the connecting element (5) forms an interlock between the first and second shafts (2, 3) and, in a second axial position (B), the connecting element (5) releases the interlock. The connecting device (1) also comprises an actuating system (6, 8, 9, 10, 11) for moving the connecting element between the first and second axial positions (A, B) and a stop (16) which limits the axial movement of the connecting element (5) in the first or second axial position (A, B). An impact damper (17) is provided for the stop (16) in order to reduce annoying noise when the connecting element (5) strikes against the stop (16).

  • Publication number: 20090288915
Abstract: A method of operating a printing press, wherein lubricated components of the printing press are lubricated with lubricant during the operation of the printing press in such a way that lubricant is taken from a reservoir via a feed line and is supplied to the component or components to be lubricated and in that the lubricant is carried away from the respective component to be lubricated in a post-feed area. Metal particles in the lubricant in the area downstream of the respective component to be lubricated are detected by means of a sensor. The state of the respective component to be lubricated is determined on the basis of this measurement and, if need be, a repair or exchange of the respective component to be lubricated is initiated.

  • Patent number: 7495580
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for finding a parked vehicle again. According to the invention, a portable unit is provided with a pressure sensor whose signals can be evaluated by an evaluation and control unit in order to determine the current air pressure, with the evaluation and control unit evaluating the determined air pressure in order to determine altitude, and storing a first air pressure value as a reference value at a predeterminable first time, which reference value represents an instantaneous altitude of a geographic position of the parked vehicle, with the evaluation and control unit estimating a height difference between a current geographic position of the portable unit and the geographic position of the parked vehicle at a second time, and/or continuously from a pressure difference between the determined current air pressure value and the reference value.

  • Publication number: 20080170386
Abstract: Take three sheets of any material. Sheets can be cut into any shape, utilizing any shape. In middle sheet cut out channels/slots/plenum to accommodate electrical wiring. In top sheet cut out holes through which wiring will be threaded from one electrical connection to another. Holes allow access to wiring and allowing wires to be connected to the electrical support for each light/light bulb. Sandwich all three sheets together to create a rigid platform. Dependent on material selected, grounding of circuitry may be required through alternate means. Cut out holes in lower sheet to accommodate optional [amended 6/29/2007] downward facing light on a separate circuit.
