    Abstract: A method is described for guiding a vehicle in a parking lot, in which a route in the parking lot from a starting position to a target position is ascertained off-board the vehicle, and at least a section of the route is transmitted to the vehicle via a communications network, and when traveling the section, the vehicle is monitored for a deviation during the autonomous driving of the section with the aid of an off-board monitoring system.
