  • Publication number: 20210099944
Abstract: A technique for transmitting system information for a time-division duplex, TDD, communication in a radio access network, RAN, is described. As to a method aspect of the technique, a master information block, MIB, is transmitted on an anchor carrier (602 1) of the TDD communication in the RAN. The MIB is indicative of a spectral resource (602-1; 602-2) allocated to a system information block, SIB, of the TDD communication in the RAN. The SIB is transmitted on the spectral resource (602-1; 602-2) indicated in the MIB.

  • Publication number: 20210084677
Abstract: A network node transmits a scheduling configuration, over a Single Cell Multicast Control Channel, that indicates whether a single transport block or multiple transport blocks of a Single Cell Multicast Traffic Channel are scheduled. The network node may then transmit a transport block in accordance with the scheduling configuration. Correspondingly, a user equipment receives the scheduling configuration. The UE may then receive a transport block in accordance with the scheduling configuration.

Abstract: A user equipment (14, 102, 1000, 1100) may receive a configuration (16) that configures the user equipment (14, 102, 1000, 1100) with a resource that is to repeat in time according to an interval (18). The user equipment (14, 102, 1000, 1100) may further receive control signalling (22) indicating a parameter N. This parameter N indicates a number of repetitions of the resource that are to occur before the configuration (16) is to be deactivated. The user equipment (14, 102, 1000, 1100) may also transmit or receive data on one or more repetitions of the resource according to the configuration (16). The user equipment (14, 102, 1000, 1100) may then deactivate the configuration (16) upon occurrence of the number of repetitions of the resource indicated by the parameter N.

  • Publication number: 20200404555
Abstract: In a wireless communication network, a device for handling neighbour relations of a first cell selects, based on the altitude of a wireless device being served by the first cell, a set of neighbour relations (66) for the first cell from a number of sets (64, 66, 68) of neighbour relations, where each set is associated with a different altitude interval (AI1, AI2, AI3), and determines neighbour cells for the wireless device based on the selected set of neighbour relations (66). • Patent number: 10834691
Abstract: A first wireless communication device belongs to a first of multiple groups of wireless communication devices. Devices in any given group are synchronized to the same timing reference and devices in different groups are not synchronized to the same timing reference. The first device receives a message that indicates, for each of one or more of the groups, a range of possible values for misalignment between the timing reference of that group and a common timing reference. The range accounts for uncertainty in that misalignment. The first device determines, based on the one or more ranges, intervals of times during which direct control signaling is expected to be received at the first device from one or more devices in one or more other groups. The first device then adjusts intervals of times during which it is configured to operate in an awake state to narrowly encompass the intervals of times during which the direct control signaling is expected to be received.

  • Publication number: 20200351607
Abstract: Method performed by a first communication device operating in a wireless communications network. The wireless communications network comprises a group of communication devices. The first communication device determines that a number of communication devices, comprised in the group of communication devices, having reported that data about a position of a second communication device comprised in the group of communication devices has not been received within a time period, is above a threshold. The first communication device then initiates transmitting an indication to at least one receiving device, indicating a result of the determination. Also disclosed is a method by a third communication device comprised in the group. The third communication device starts a timer defining the time period and, in the absence of the data received within the period, sends a notification of expiration of the timer.

  • Patent number: 10764953
Abstract: Methods of operating a wireless terminal in a wireless communication network are discussed. A connection resume request may be transmitted from the wireless terminal to a base station of the wireless communication network. After transmitting the connection resume request, a connection resume message may be received at the wireless terminal from the base station. Responsive to receiving the connection resume message, reconfiguration of a connection with the base station may be performed, a security key for the connection with the base station may be provided, and a radio bearer may be resumed. • Publication number: 20200128363
Abstract: Systems and methods relating to scheduling and transmitting/receiving a segmented Single-Cell Multicast Control Channel (SC-MCCH) are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a wireless device to receive a plurality of SC-MCCH segments comprises obtaining information regarding segmentation of a SC-MCCH into a plurality of SC-MCCH segments and receiving, from a network node, separate transmissions for the plurality of SC-MCCH segments in accordance with the information regarding segmentation of the SC-MCCH.
