  • Patent number: 11297614
Abstract: A node (100) of a cellular network sends an uplink grant (803) to a communication device (10). The uplink grant indicates uplink radio resources allocated to the communication device (10) in reoccurring time intervals. In response to detecting a need for an uplink retransmission (814) by a further communication device (10?) on at least a part of the allocated uplink radio resources in a certain one of the time intervals, the node (100) sends control information (808) to the communication device (10). The control information (808) temporarily disables utilization of at least this part of the allocated uplink radio resources in at least this certain time interval by the communication device (10).

  • Publication number: 20220070715
Abstract: According to an aspect, one or more network nodes of a wireless communication system sends, to a wireless device operating in the wireless communication system, mobility reference signal (MRS) configuration information, the MRS configuration information specifying one or more parameters for each of a plurality of MRS configurations. The network node subsequently sends, to the wireless device, an activation command indicating that at least a first one of the MRS configurations is to be used by the wireless device, the activation command including an index identifying the first one of the MRS configurations from among the plurality of MRS configurations. The wireless device receives the MRS configuration information and the activation command. • Patent number: 11265776
Abstract: Embodiments herein relate e.g. to a method performed by a master node (QQ160) for handling communication of a wireless device (QQ110) in a wireless network. The master node (QQ160) transmits, to a secondary node, SN, a message before initiating a SN change procedure, which message indicates that an SN change is pending and as such the SN should not perform either a secondary cell group, SCG, reconfiguration or trigger any SN triggered procedures.

  • Patent number: 11252561
Abstract: A Radio Access Network (RAN) node instructs a wireless device having a connection to the RAN node to transition from a connected Radio Resource Control (RRC) state to an inactive RRC state in which key information supporting the connection, and a further connection to a Core Network (CN) node serving the wireless device, are maintained. Responsive to the wireless device returning to the connected RRC state, the RAN node requests new key material from the CN node, and replaces the key material supporting the connection with the new key material received from the CN node.

  • Patent number: 11240769
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a method for use in a user equipment (UE) of acquiring system information or a synchronization signal comprises receiving, from a network node, a plurality of subframes. Each subframe includes a repetition of either system information or a synchronization signal. The repetition is divided into a number (N) of transmission blocks in a frequency domain of a first bandwidth (N>1). The method further comprises combining N transmission blocks from one or more repetitions of the respective received plurality of subframes to decode the system information or synchronization signal. The UE may comprise a narrowband wireless device operable to receive a bandwidth less than the first bandwidth, and combining N transmission blocks to decode the system information or synchronization signal may comprise combining at least one transmission block from two or more repetitions of two or more respective subframes of the plurality of subframes.

  • Publication number: 20220014953
Abstract: A wireless device operates with dual connectivity to a Master node and a Secondary node, which are both New Radio, NR, nodes. It receives measurement and/or reporting configuration information from a network. It determines whether the received 5 configuration information relates to a MCG or a SCG. Specifically, it is determined that the received configuration information relates to the MCG if the configuration information is received directly within an RRCReconfiguration message received via SRB1, or that the received configuration information relates to the SCG if the configuration information is received directly within an RRCReconfiguration message 0 received via SRB3, or alternatively if the configuration information is received in an RRCReconfiguration message that is embedded within an RRCReconfiguration message received via SRB1.
