  • Patent number: 9802003
Abstract: A medication delivery device having a housing having a proximal and a distal end, a medication receptacle designed to be engaged with the distal end of the housing by engagement of a first engagement feature with a second engagement feature and a dosing mechanism. The dosing mechanism includes a piston rod which is rotatable and moveable in a distal direction for medication delivery and a drive device for moving the piston rod in the distal direction for medication delivery. The medication receptacle includes an actuation element that brings a guiding element in a guiding position. The guiding element guides the piston rod for medication delivery. The first engagement feature and the second engagement feature are moveable into engagement by a movement of the medication receptacle which ends in a rotational movement without axial movement of the medication receptacle with respect to the housing.

  • Patent number: 9802004
Abstract: A piston rod is arranged in a body and provided with a helical element and an axial element. A guide element, which is arranged in the body and fixed relatively to the body, is coupled to the helical element to guide a helical movement of the piston rod and coupled to the axial element to guide an axial movement of the piston rod. The axial movement allows a priming of the device preceding the helical movement of the piston rod.

  • Patent number: 9750888
Abstract: A drive mechanism for a medication delivery device is presented having a housing, a rotation member that rotates in a first direction with respect to the housing during setting of a dose of a medication and rotates in a second direction with respect to the housing during delivery of the dose, the second direction being opposite to the first direction. The device also has a piston rod that is displaced in a distal direction with respect to the housing for delivering the dose, a drive member which follows rotational movement of the rotation member in the second direction during delivery of the dose, and a stop member which prevents rotational movement of the drive member with respect to the housing in the first direction during setting of the dose.

  • Patent number: 9737666
Abstract: An assembly for a drug delivery device is disclosed. An example assembly includes a housing, a rotation member, a drive member, and at least one correction member. The rotation member is adapted to be rotated with respect to the housing in a first rotational direction for delivering a dose of a drug. The drive member is coupleable to the rotation member for delivering the dose. In a delivery mode, the drive member and the rotation member are coupled such that the drive member follows rotational movement of the rotation member in the first rotational direction due to mechanical interaction of the rotation member and the drive member. In a correction mode, the rotation member and the drive member are decoupled such that the rotation member is rotatable in the first rotational direction with respect to the drive member.

  • Patent number: 9492619
Abstract: An assembly for a drug delivery device comprises a housing, at least one stop feature and at least one blocking member. For setting a dose of a drug, the stop feature is configured to be rotated in a dose setting direction with respect to the blocking member and with respect to the housing. For delivering the set dose of the drug, the blocking member is configured to be axially displaced with respect to the stop feature away from an axial starting position and towards an axial interaction position. When the blocking member is in the axial starting position, the blocking member is axially offset from the stop feature and, when the blocking member is in the axial interaction position, the blocking member is configured to mechanically cooperate with the stop feature such that rotation of the stop feature in the dose setting direction with respect to the housing is prevented.
