Abstract: A gutter protection assembly includes a gutter and a gutter protection. The gutter includes a front wall, a bottom wall and a rear wall, the rear wall having a crimp protruding outwardly from an outer face of the rear wall of the gutter. The gutter protection device includes a front portion engageable with the front wall of the gutter, and a rear portion. The rear portion includes a gutter wall-engaging section having an outer downward segment provided with a hook. The hook is configured to engage with the crimp to provide a support for the gutter to hang from. The gutter assembly is securable to a supporting structure through an outwardly extending section projecting upwardly from the gutter wall-engaging section and extending above the rear wall of the gutter when in the gutter protection assembly, with the gutter hanging from the gutter protection device.

Abstract: A gutter cover, the central portion of which comprises a plurality of spaced-apart deflectable fastener-receiving flaps hingedly connected at a junction with the rear portion, the deflectable fastener receiving flaps being pivoted into the trough, below the adjacent section of the central portion, upon insertion of a mechanical fastener therein and into the rear wall of the gutter to secure the gutter to the supporting surface. The rear portion of the cover may also comprise a fastener-abutment extending in the trough, below the central portion, and defining an oblique angle with the rear wall of the gutter, when the gutter cover is engaged with the gutter. The fastener abutment and the rear wall of the gutter are configured to receive a mechanical fastener therein to secure the gutter to a wall, the fastener abutment maintains the mechanical fastener in an oblique angle with the rear wall of the gutter.

Abstract: An eavestrough cover which comprises a substantially planar central portion formed of a woven material and which central portion has a plurality of longitudinally embossments formed therein, first and second longitudinally extending portions on either side of the central portion, the first longitudinally extending portion being arranged to fit within a recess formed adjacent a front wall of the eavestrough, and the second longitudinally extending portion being designed to sit on top of a rear wall of the eavestrough.

Abstract: A panel assembly covers a bearing surface. The panel assembly includes a panel and a plurality of panel supports. Each one of the panel supports includes a mounting plate, first and second panel edge engaging portions and a protruding rib engaging portion. The panel includes a first edge region, an opposed second edge region, a covering portion extending between the first and second edge regions, and at least one rearwardly protruding rib extending between the first and second edge regions. The first edge region, the second edge region, and the at least one rearwardly protruding rib of the panel are respectively engageable with the first panel edge engaging portions, the second panel edge engaging portions, and the protruding rib engaging portions of the supports. The panel assembly is translatable with respect to the panel supports when engaged together.

Abstract: A gutter cover is engageable in a rain gutter channel to close a top opening of a rain gutter. The gutter cover includes a sheet of rigid and resilient material, the sheet having a pre-formed curved profile along a widthwise axis thereof, two opposing longitudinal edges, and a plurality of throughholes formed therein, the sheet being substantially flexible to modify its pre-formed curved profile for insertion into the rain gutter channel. A gutter assembly includes the gutter cover inserted in a gutter and in a method, the gutter cover engages with a gutter.

Abstract: A panel assembly covers a bearing surface. The panel assembly includes a panel and a plurality of panel supports. Each one of the panel supports includes a mounting plate, first and second panel edge engaging portions and a protruding rib engaging portion. The panel includes a first edge region, an opposed second edge region, a covering portion extending between the first and second edge regions, and at least one rearwardly protruding rib extending between the first and second edge regions. The first edge region, the second edge region, and the at least one rearwardly protruding rib of the panel are respectively engageable with the first panel edge engaging portions, the second panel edge engaging portions, and the protruding rib engaging portions of the supports. The panel assembly is translatable with respect to the panel supports when engaged together.

Abstract: A gutter protection device is engageable with a gutter. The gutter includes a front wall, a bottom wall and a rear wall defining a trough, and the front wall having an upper rim defining an inward recess. The gutter protection device has a front portion, a single plate central portion, a rear portion and a longitudinal median line, the front portion being configured to contact the front wall of the gutter, the gutter protection device including, solely in the front portion thereof and forwardly from the longitudinal median line, a lower perforated section vertically spaced-apart from the single plate central portion and extending forwardly thereof and an upper perforated plate extending above the lower perforated section and being spaced-apart therefrom to define a water draining chamber in between when the gutter protection device is engaged with the gutter. The gutter protection device may be part of a gutter assembly.
