  • Publication number: 20060213858
Abstract: A container, such as a baby bottle, has an hourglass shape elongated wall substantially along its length. There is an indented portion in the hourglass shape for facilitating holding of the bottle. A rim at the top of the wall is for receiving a nipple locating closure, and the indented portion extends in height for less than half of an overall height of the bottle. The bottom of the bottle is curved and blends with wall of the bottle. The bottle has an angulated profile such that a top portion of the hourglass is arched relatively towards one side of a vertical axis extending from a bottom towards the top. The indented portion of the hourglass is angulated at a non-right angular configuration relatively to a vertical axis extending from a bottom towards the top. The inside of the bottle is formed to have a blended inside curved interface between the inside of the bottom and the inside of the wall.

  • Publication number: 20060213855
Abstract: A baby bottle has an essentially pear side wall profile shape. There is a truncated end to the essentially pear side wall profile shape. A projecting ridge portion is located towards the top of the truncated end of the essentially pear side wall profile shape for facilitating holding of the bottle. There is a rim at the top of the side wall for receiving a nipple locating closure. In another format the baby bottle has an elongated side wall. A bottom portion of the wall is of a diameter greater than the diameter towards the top of the bottle. The bottle is formed such the relatively largest diameter portion of the side wall is located about one third from the bottom portion of the bottle. The center of gravity of the bottle is below the midpoint of the longitudinal length.

  • Publication number: 20060213926
Abstract: A multi-compartment dispensing container includes multiple cells arranged around an axis. A common lid is provided. The cells each have an outlet port arranged substantially at the bottom, and each of these cells is isolated, one from the other, so that a substance can be in each cell independently of the other.

  • Publication number: 20060216102
Abstract: A cleaning utensil for cleaning a container comprises a first cleaning unit and a second cleaning unit is axially movable relative to the mounting for the first unit. The second unit is for location axially within an axial aperture of the first unit. Each cleaning unit includes a brush with relatively outwardly extending bristles. The first cleaning unit includes a sponge which is relatively outwardly extending. There is a closable cavity in the handle for containing cleaning fluid, and the cavity is connected with the first cleaning unit or second cleaning unit. Cleaning fluid can be expelled from the container through one of the units to facilitate the cleaning of the bottle. The first cleaning unit effectively cleans a portion of an inside of a baby bottle, and the second cleaning unit effectively cleans a second portion of an inside of the baby bottle.

  • Publication number: 20060213856
Abstract: A container, such as a baby bottle or sipper cup, includes an elongated side wall and one or more handles to either side of the elongated side wall for facilitating handling of the bottle. There is a rim at the top of the side wall for receiving a nipple locating closure. With two handles, these are diametrically opposite each other with the elongated bottle between them. The handles are formed as an integrated substantially embracive or curved element, and the element has an aperture at one section for engagement with the mounting of the bottle, and the curved element essentially surrounds the bottle. The curved element is removable from the mounting.
