Abstract: An improved acetabular impactor, especially suitable for use in minimally invasive hip surgeries, is disclosed. The impactor is simple in design and operation and spatially optimized. In particular, the impactor is designed to remotely detach the acetabular shell from the impactor via different potential mechanical connections.

Abstract: A minimally invasive hip replacement surgical procedure that is also tissue preserving is disclosed. By making a superior incision, rather than a posterior incision, neither the posterior hip capsule, nor the gluteus medius or minimus are dissected. This results in improved post-operative results in the form of less dislocations and better healing.

Abstract: Initiating a conference call using a call waiting graphical user interface includes receiving an indication that an incoming telephone call is directed to a telephone number and identifying an account associated with the telephone number to which the incoming call is directed. Configuration data related to the account is accessed. A first online identity and a second online identity associated with the account are identified based on the configuration data accessed. A first electronic communication is sent to the first online identity and a second electronic communication is sent to the second online identity. The first online identity can respond to the first electronic communication and the second online identity can respond to the second electronic communication.

Abstract: A metal wood golf club head adapted for attachment to a shaft, with a body comprising of a first body portion and a second body portion, each portion constructed of a different density material. Combining a high density material in the first body portion with a low density material in the second body portion, creates an ultra-low center of gravity relative to the geometric face center, resulting in higher launch angles and spin rate ratios.

Abstract: Alerting an intended recipient of a phone call includes identifying an account based on a phone call received from a caller and accessing configuration data related to the account. Several identities associated with the account are identified based on the configuration data accessed. A first identity is determined from among the several identities based on the configuration data accessed. The availability of the first identity to receive a first electronic communication associated with the phone call is determined. The first electronic communication associated with the phone call is sent to the first identity conditioned on whether the first identity is determined to be available to receive the first electronic communication.

Abstract: The apparatus for the thermal spray delivery of a precursor solution comprises a first solution reservoir, a second solution reservoir, singular or multiple atomizing liquid injector(s) disposed in fluid communication with the reservoirs, a flame source configured to direct a spray from the atomizing liquid injector to a substrate, and a thermal control device disposed in thermal communication with the substrate. The method of depositing a precursor solution at a substrate to form a coating comprises maintaining a substrate at a pre-selected temperature, delivering the precursor solution from a reservoir bank, atomizing the precursor solution, injecting the atomized precursor solution into a flame, and directing the flame to the substrate.

Abstract: A fabric treatment article for use in a conventional home clothes dryer is described that deodorizes and freshens clothing in need of freshening without imparting additional stains. The product is particularly suited for delivering a fragrance to relatively dry clothing and can be added directly to the dryer without the need for a bag to contain the product and clothing during the dryer cycle.

Abstract: Fabric and textile conditioning compositions containing particular combinations of cationic polymers and anionic surfactants are disclosed. The polymers are soluble or dispersible to at least 0.01% by weight in distilled water at 25° C., are preferably below a particular molecular weight to afford optimal cleaning and conditioning, and must be present in an effective amount to yield a substantial conditioning benefit. A method of conditioning articles using the polymer/surfactant combinations is also disclosed.

Abstract: A method and system for sharing files between a group of computer systems. The file sharing system allows a group of computer systems to be defined. The files shared by a group are associated with a group folder. A group folder is represented by a folder created by the file system of each member of the group. The folder at each member contains a file for each file that is shared by the group. The files in the folder of a member may be actual files stored at that member, which contains the content of the shared file, or virtual files identifying the actual file that is stored at another member. When a member accesses a virtual file, the file sharing system detects the access and requests that the file owner provide a copy of the file to the accessing member on a peer-to-peer basis. Whenever a shared file is modified, the file owner sends updated metadata for that file to the other members of the group.
