  • Publication number: 20090032975
Abstract: A semiconductor wafer contains a plurality of semiconductor die. The wafer has contact pads formed over its surface. A passivation layer is formed over the wafer. A stress buffer layer is formed over the passivation layer. The stress buffer layer is patterned to expose the contact pads. A metal layer is deposited over the stress buffer layer. The metal layer is a common voltage bus for the semiconductor device in electrical contact with the contact pads. An adhesion layer, barrier layer, and seed layer is formed over the wafer in electrical contact with the contact pads. The metal layer is mounted to the seed layer. Solder bumps or other interconnect structures are formed over the metal layer. A second passivation layer is formed over the metal layer. In an alternate embodiment, a wirebondable layer can be deposited over the metal layer and wirebonds connected to the metal layer.

  • Publication number: 20080020187
Abstract: A laminated panel (23) comprises a fusible layer (23A) having an upper surface. A mesh layer (23A, A1) has an encapsulated portion enclosed in the fusible layer so as to be below the upper surface of the fusible layer (23A). An embossed portion (A1) protrudes from the upper surface of the fusible layer (23A). A method (10) of forming a laminated panel with the fusible layer and the mesh layer comprises the steps of: i) heating the fusible layer (23A) to fuse a portion of the fusible layer; and ii) pressing only selected portion of the mesh layer against the fusible layer to provide for the formation of an embossed pattern (A1) on the resulting laminated panel (10).

  • Publication number: 20070297594
Abstract: Controlling use of a telephone line includes receiving a specification from a first entity that defines one or more supervisory controls on use of a controlled telephone line by a second entity. The supervisory controls specify people with whom the second entity may or may not communicate over the controlled telephone line, and times at which the second entity may or may not communicate over the controlled telephone line. An indication of desired communications between the second entity and a third entity at a particular time over the controlled telephone line is received. A determination is made as to whether the desired communications are consistent with the specified supervisory controls. The desired communications are controlled when the desired communications are not consistent with the specified supervisory controls. In addition, the supervisory controls enable the first entity to interrupt existing calls over the controlled telephone line.

  • Publication number: 20070274497
Abstract: Alerting an intended recipient of a phone call includes identifying an account based on a phone call received from a caller and accessing configuration data related to the account. The configuration data is used to identify an identity associated with the account. One or more external online service provider systems are queried across a network to determine whether the identity is available to receive an electronic communication associated with the phone call. The electronic communication associated with the phone call is sent across the network to the one or more external online service provider systems conditioned on whether the identity is determined to be available to receive the electronic communication. The one or more external online service provider systems send the electronic communication to the identity.

  • Publication number: 20070260122
Abstract: A surgical retractor comprising a retractor body having a site portion and a handle portion, and an impactor body on the retractor body. The impactor body is positioned and configured for use in impacting the site portion in the surgical site. An impaction axis of the impaction body is preferably substantially aligned with an axis of the site portion of the impactor body. The impactor body is preferably attached to the retractor body at a junction between the site portion and the handle portion of the retractor body. In one embodiment, the impactor portion is configured to selectively mate with an impactor extension member to thereby optionally receive direct impaction on the impactor portion or indirect impaction through the impactor extension member.

  • Publication number: 20070209220
Abstract: A system and method for use during hip surgery includes a position frame that is removably secured to the patient's femur. The system further includes a tracking unit and navigation engine that establish a pelvic coordinate system and, with the patient's leg placed in a predetermined orientation, capture the location of the femoral position frame within the pelvic coordinate system. The system further includes an image generator configured to display one or more images for directing the surgeon to return the patient's leg to the predetermined orientation following a trial reduction based upon the previously captured position. A leg change determination engine compares the current, post-reconstruction position of the femoral position tracking frame with the previously captured, pre-reconstruction position to derive leg length, offset, and anterior-posterior change values. The change values are then provided to the surgeon for evaluating the suitability of the trial reduction.

  • Publication number: 20070179629
Abstract: An acetabular cup assembly includes a cup-like liner with a rim defining a first plane, an inner surface defining a hemispherical socket with a center of curvature close to the first plane and an outer frustoconical seating surface having a first taper and extending to the rim. The assembly also includes a sleeve having inner and outer frustoconical surfaces and a central axis and surrounding the liner. The inner surface of the sleeve has the same taper as the seating surface so that the sleeve wedges against said seating surface to fix the position of said center of curvature relative to the sleeve. The outer surface of the sleeve has a selected second taper which matches that of the seat surface of an acetabular cup shell in which the sleeve is seated. A method of revising an implanted acetabular cup assembly is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070010350
Abstract: A metal wood golf club head adapted for attachment to a shaft, having a stiff lower front face and a compliant upper front face. An insert serves as an impact face. The lower front face has a substantially greater thickness providing a stiffer face area. A cavity behind the lower front face removes undesired weight from the front face and allowing for weight to be redistributed to more desirable locations.

One example graphical interface includes at least two screen regions displayed in relation to each other, with each region including a plurality of locations. Each location in the first screen region corresponds to a value along a first value axis, and each location in the second screen region corresponds to a value along a second value axis. The graphical interface also includes a first indicator in the first region and a second indicator in the second region. In response to a repositioning command based on an algorithm, the graphical interface includes a repositioned first value axis and the second value axis, such that the indicators are displayed in new locations determined based on the algorithm.
