Abstract: A filter for a fluid system includes a filter housing, and a filter medium within the filter housing. A filter cap component is coupled to the filter housing and includes a fluid distribution wall having therein a plurality of fluid openings. The filter further includes a seal having an annular central body and a valving skirt contacting an outgoing wall surface of the filter cap component at an anti-drain back sealing location. The valving skirt is deformable away from the outgoing wall surface to permit fluid flow through the fluid distribution wall, and alternately seals against the fluid distribution wall to prevent drain back.

  • Publication number: 20250120622
Abstract: The present disclosure includes a connector assembly that is a part of a sensor assembly for collecting patient physiological data. The connector assembly can include a first connector tab with catches, a second connector tab with openings, a retainer with pins, and a circuit board coupled to a cable. Each of the pins of the retainer can include a detent that can engage one of the catches of the first connector tab. The pins can extend through the openings of the second connector tab so that the retainer is coupled to the first connector tab by the detents engaging the catches. The first and second connector tabs can thereby be coupled together to support the circuit board and the cable between the first and second connector tabs.

  • Publication number: 20250124713
Abstract: An adaptive object recognition system utilizes relevance-based weighting and scoring that may assist with accuracy and stability. The system receives multiple recognition results for objects across video frames. Weights are assigned to results based on their stability over frames and the relevance scoring of neighboring areas. This allows more confidence to be placed in consistent detections and clearer image regions. The system decouples high and low accuracy areas to apply appropriate thresholding. Temporal analysis is used to favor frequently detected objects. Weighted results are combined to generate final recognitions that are more robust to non-uniform image quality and noise.

  • Publication number: 20250123502
Abstract: A housing assembly for an electronics-enabled device includes a housing wall having parallel inner and outer faces, with a hinge base affixed through the wall. The hinge base has a shank extending through the wall and a joint mount exterior to the housing for hingedly mounting an external component. An anchor plate inside the housing is welded to the shank, preventing axial withdrawal of the hinge base by obstruction against the inner face. The welded connection rotationally keys the anchor plate to the hinge base. The assembly enables integration of electronics components mounted on the anchor plate, which can serve as a thermal conductor between heat-generating components and an external heatsink via the hinge base. In electronics-enabled eyewear, the hinge base provides hinged connection of a temple to an eyewear frame. Manufacturing involves locating the hinge base and anchor plate, translationally fastening them together threadedly, and spot-welding for rotational keying.

  • Publication number: 20250122029
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for controlling the rotation of turrets with servo motors within a machine line used in the shaping of articles. Error conditions can be detected using the servo motors for resolving issues with the machine line. Control of the turrets by the servo motors allows for each turret to be rotated relative to the other turrets independently for resolving the issues. Absolute encoders are used to return the servo motors and their respective turrets back to being aligned with a virtual axis for synchronous rotation of the turrets within the machine line, despite the turrets not being mechanically coupled together by a series of gears.

  • Publication number: 20250124394
Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods of a service that allows hard copy and electronic media customers to proactively specify, across a broad range of categories, the hard copy mail and/or electronic media mail that they would or would not like to receive. Embodiments include methods and systems configured to allow customers of delivery services to customize the flow of physical items such as hard copy or other letters or parcels, for delivery or electronic media mail from mailers based on highly specific customer-designated criteria. The delivery service acts as a trusted third party to serve as the intermediary between the recipient of the items and mailers to provide privacy and manage a repository for a customer-selected criteria database. In addition, one embodiment provides verification and/or identification that mail being sent meets the customer's designated criteria.
