  • Publication number: 20250123104
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for improving daylight performance of a star tracker. A region of interest (ROI) within a field of view of sky is obtained. The region of interest is divided into sub-ROIs. Sub-ROIs including a candidate celestial object are identified. An angular velocity of each candidate celestial object is determined. The known celestial object is a candidate celestial object identified as having a angular velocity, during a time period, that is within a range of angular velocities about a known angular velocity associated with the known celestial object.

  • Publication number: 20250126492
Abstract: Various approaches for configuring or operating a floating satellite network ground station on a ship or other marine vessel that transits among multiple geographic areas, are discussed. An example method for configuration includes: receiving configuration information for a compute node (e.g., mobile data center) to be operated as a temporary non-terrestrial network (NTN) ground station, with the compute node located on a marine vessel that has connectivity to the satellite NTN via a feeder link; configuring the compute node to operate as the temporary NTN ground station, based on the configuration information; and modifying the feeder link to perform data communications between the temporary NTN ground station and respective orbiting satellites of the satellite NTN. The feeder link is dynamically modified based on network usage and restrictions applicable to a geographic location of the marine vessel, such as an exclusion zone (EZ) defined for NTN communications.

  • Patent number: 12279196
Abstract: Techniques are described to support call routing and location for a user equipment (UE) with satellite wireless access to a serving PLMN. The UE sends a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) INVITE message to a network node, such as a P-CSCF, that includes an indication of satellite access for the UE. In response the network node sends a request to another network node for a cell ID for a fixed cell in which the UE is located. The fixed cell can be independent of satellite radio cells for the serving PLMN. The network node may receive the cell ID for the fixed cell and sends the SIP INVITE message to another network node (e.g., an E-CSCF or LRF) with the cell ID for the fixed cell. The other network node may use the cell ID to route the SIP INVITE message or obtain an approximate location of the UE.

A delivery system of the systems can include, for example, a wearable device configured to be positioned on a breast during breastfeeding. The delivery system can further include an agent source configured to house the therapeutic or other agent and a fluid source configured to supply a supplemental fluid. The agent source and the fluid source can be fluidly coupled to the wearable device via a connector. When the device is positioned on the breast and the breastfeeding child is breastfeeding, the supplemental fluid mixes with the therapeutic or other agent and flows through the connector into the wearable device and into a mouth of the breastfeeding child.

  • Patent number: 12277361
Abstract: Wearable head-mounted displays, such as virtual reality systems, present immersive experiences and environments to a wearer. However, the head-mounted displays, as well as the immersive environments that they produce, limit the wearer's ability to interact with outside observers. For example, a wearer may not be able to see outside observers, and outside observers may not have any insight to what the wearer is experiencing or where the wearer's attention is directed. Accordingly, a wearable electronic device may include an outward-facing display configured to display information to outside observers, such as images of the wearer's face or images that represent or indicate the state of the wearer and/or the head mounted display.
