  • Patent number: 11205132
Abstract: The present invention concerns methods and apparatus for perturbing a known contextualization of an underlying proposition adopted by a group of subjects that are considered in a quantum representation. Initially, the subjects belonging to the group exhibit the known contextualization modulo the proposition and also have known measurable indications in the known contextualization. Perturbation is due to injection into the group of a disruptive subject that exhibits a Fermi-Dirac (F-D) anti-consensus statistic modulo the underlying proposition. A monitoring unit and a statistics module are deployed to collect and study subsequent measurable indications from subjects in the group after injection of the disruptive subject and upon re-confronting of the underlying proposition. The perturbation is thus detected and changes in the quantum representation due to it are estimated.

  • Publication number: 20210359996
Abstract: A system and method for identifying whether an article is properly presented and duly owned by or licensed to a user and releasing assigned content to the user upon confirmation of such verifiably owned or licensed article. A manipulated user device equipped with at least one camera is deployed to determine if the article is properly presented. The device captures images and the system has the ability to determine from the images and any additional spatial information the orientation and/or position parameters of the article to confirm whether a valid spatial relationship exists between the article and the user device. Due ownership or license is verified by relying on tokens (e.g., Non-Fungible Tokens) and blockchain transaction records. The assigned content released to the user can be contextual and can range from items such as images, music, videos, games, virtual content, augmented content, coupons (virtual or physical), promotions, special offers and the like.

  • Publication number: 20210357966
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing context-aware selection and recommendation of applications and services on a mobile device. The selection of the preferred applications is based on the context of the user and the context of the applications. A comparison engine related to a recommendation module performs a similarity computation between context attribute vectors of the user and the applications. Based on the similarity computation, a rank-order is produced that determines in what order the application icons should be presented to the user. A digital wallet is also disclosed that maintains the reward points awarded to the user based on the instant principles. Unlike prevailing techniques, the reward points are awarded in a context-aware manner after reconciling the conflicting or contradictory usage habits of the user.

  • Publication number: 20210304846
Abstract: A system and a method for a computer-implemented adaptive machine learning approach for tracking the effects of a therapeutic compound formulation containing a number of therapeutic components on one or more measurable parameters of a patient. The therapeutic components are represented by vectors in a complex interaction space. The vectors are not dimensionally reduced during the tracking process and they are adapted for tracking correlations between the therapeutic components, as those manifest in the values of the one or more measurable parameters. The approach is useful for making personalized adjustments of the therapeutic components of the compound formulation based on the one or more measurable patient responses captured by the measurable parameters.

  • Publication number: 20210271879
Abstract: A system and method for identifying whether an article is validly worn by a user and releasing content to the user upon confirmation of such validly worn article. A manipulated user device equipped with at least one camera is deployed to determine if the article is validly worn. The device captures images and the system has the ability to determine from the images and any additional spatial information the orientation and/or position parameters of the article and of the user's body to confirm whether an anatomically valid spatial relationship exists between the user's body and/or body part and the worn article. Guidance for placement of the article with respect to the camera to aid in the determination process may be provided. The content released to the user can be contextual and can range from items such as music, videos, games, virtual content, augmented content, coupons (virtual or physical), promotions, special offers and the like.

  • Patent number: 11065977
Abstract: A method for receiving an update from a remote source may comprise a step of connecting wirelessly to a transceiver. The method may comprise a step of communicating with a remote database via the transceiver. The method may comprise a step of providing operational parameter data to the remote database. The method may comprise a step of receiving updated operational parameters from the database based on a comparison of the operational parameter data to a latest version of the operational parameter data performed by the remote database. The method may comprise a step of updating one or more components of a vehicle using the updated operational parameters. The remote database may be configured to determine a status of the components of the vehicle and provide the updated operational parameters to keep software used by the vehicle to a latest version.

  • Publication number: 20210086658
Abstract: A power management system includes a sensor interface that receives sensor data samples during operation of a vehicle. A storage device stores the sensor data samples for multiple points in time along a route segment traveled by the vehicle. One or more processors analyze the sensor data samples to detect a historical pattern of the vehicle. The one or more processors determine time efficient operational parameters for the vehicle in response to a destination and an estimated travel time to the destination. The estimated travel time may be based on predicted conditions of the vehicle indicated by the historical pattern. The time efficient operational parameters may be selected to decrease the estimated travel time. At least one of the sensor data samples may include telemetry data.

  • Patent number: 10931736
Abstract: A semantic note taking system and method for collecting information, enriching the information, and binding the information to services is provided. User-created notes are enriched with labels, context traits, and relevant data to minimize friction in the note-taking process. In other words, the present invention is directed to collecting unscripted data, adding more meaning and use out of the data, and binding the data to services. Mutable and late-binding to services is also provided to allow private thoughts to be published to a myriad of different applications and services in a manner compatible with how thoughts are processed in the brain. User interfaces and semantic skins are also provided to derive meaning out of notes without requiring a great deal of user input.
