    Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for client-side predictive caching of content to facilitate use of the content. If account is likely to commence use of a content item through a client, the client is configured to predictively cache the content item before the use is commenced. In doing so, the client may obtain an initial portion of the content item from another computing device. The client may then initialize various resources to facilitate use of the content item by the client. The client-side cache may be divided into multiple segments with different content selection criteria.

One such apparatus may include a memory and a processor configured to identify a transmission mode for a transmission of a signal; select a tone plan for transmission of the signal within a 320 MHz total channel bandwidth or a 240 MHz total channel bandwidth, where the tone plan includes a 256 point tone plan, 512 point tone plan, 1024 point tone plane, 2048 point tone plan, 4096 point tone plan, and where the tone plan is selected based on the transmission mode; generate the signal according to the tone plan; and transmit the signal over the 320 MHz total channel bandwidth or over the 240 MHz total channel bandwidth. The selected tone plan may include one or more duplicates of an IEEE 802.11ax 80 MHz (HE80) tone plan which may include one or more null space 26 tone resource units.

    Abstract: Raman spectra of cells, such as normal human T- and B-cells from peripheral blood or human tonsil and the corresponding transformed cells are obtained by optically trapping the cells and obtaining their Raman spectra. The trapped cells can be subjected to one, two, or more different excitation wavelengths, and each wavelength of the corresponding Raman spectra can be stored in a separate channel. In preferred embodiments, two spectra are subtracted from each other to give a difference spectrum and each channel is analyzed independently to characterize the trapped cell. Alternatively, the Raman spectrum can be subjected to Principal Component Analysis (PCA) in order to characterize the trapped cell. The trapped cell thus classified can be sorted, or further manipulated.

Based on analysis of a group of alerts, a likelihood may be determined that a different alert will be issued for the monitored performance of a particular network entity of the plurality for which no respective alert has yet been issued. In response to the likelihood exceeding a threshold, an alert prediction for the performance of the particular network entity may be issued together with a score corresponding to the likelihood.
