  • Publication number: 20240013073
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to a method and system for oil and gas predictive analytics. A computer system receives a set of production information for a well located in a region. The computing system generates a set of general reference groups comprising one or more reference wells for the region. The computing system determines whether the set of production information for the well includes the threshold amount of production information. The computing system selects a subset of reference wells from the general reference groups based on one or more traits of the well. The computing system generates a reference curve based on the set of production information associated with each reference well in the subset of reference wells. The computing system fits a decline curve to the reference curve, to determine an estimated ultimate recovery of the well.

  • Patent number: 11866049
Abstract: A vehicle includes an engine, a transmission, and a controller. The transmission is configured to transfer power from the engine to at least one drive wheel to propel the vehicle. The controller programmed to, in response to a command to shift the transmission, reduce a torque of the engine from a desired engine torque to a reduced value based on a flare at an input to the transmission during the shift. The controller is further programmed to, in response to the reduced value exceeding a threshold, retard an engine spark and maintain operation of all cylinders of the engine to reduce the torque of the engine during the shift. The controller is further programmed to, in response to the reduced value being less than the threshold, retard the engine spark and shutdown at least one cylinder of the engine to reduce the torque of the engine during the shift.

  • Publication number: 20240007468
Abstract: Methods are provided that support media access control (MAC) address rotation (RCM) by generating a passcode for associating a user defined network by one or more endpoint devices instead of using MAC addresses for their respective device identity. In these methods, a computing device obtains a registration request for establishing a user defined network (UDN) and generates a unique UDN identifier and a unique passcode associated with the unique UDN identifier. The unique passcode enables an authentication of one or more endpoint devices to connect to the UDN. The authentication is independent of the MAC address of a respective endpoint device. The computing device provides the UDN identifier and the unique passcode such that the UDN identifier and the unique passcode are for connecting the one or more endpoint devices to the UDN.

  • Publication number: 20230415119
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for backmix the reagent mass in rotating cylindrical reactors. In this context, the present invention provides a system for internal backmix of the reagent mass in a rotating cylindrical reactor (2), comprising a first set of drag fins (27) adapted for dragging the reagent mass in a first direction, and a second set of drag fins (28) adapted for dragging the reagent mass in a second direction opposite to the first direction, wherein the first (27) and the second (28) set of drag fins are positioned internally along the length of the cylindrical rotating reactor (2). The system described above allows the mixing of a portion of the reagent mass at a more advanced stage of the reactor with another portion at an earlier stage of processing, homogenizing the reagent mass temperatures and increasing the reactor's productivity.

  • Publication number: 20230417128
Abstract: A screen assembly for wellbore production wherein a base pipe is wrapped with a screen constructed one or more cables formed from a plurality of non-metallic fibers bonded to one another with a metal binder. The non-metallic fibers may be basalt fibers or another ceramic material. The metal binder forms a metal matrix that has a first diameter about a primary cable axis, with the metal matrix securing the non-metallic fibers so that they have a second diameter about the primary cable axis, where the second diameter is larger than the first diameter, minimizing exposure of the metal matrix to wellbore fluids.
