  • Publication number: 20240257441
Abstract: A computer system displays a first view of a three-dimensional environment including a first representation of a first portion of a physical environment. While displaying the first view, the computer system detects movement of a first user from a first location to a second location of the physical environment, and in response: if the second location corresponds to a first type of exercise, the computer system replaces at least a portion of a second representation of a second portion of the physical environment that includes the second location with virtual content corresponding to the first type of exercise; and if the second location corresponds to a second type of exercise, the computer system replaces at least a portion of a third representation of a third portion of the physical environment that includes the second location with virtual content corresponding to the second type of exercise.

  • Publication number: 20240256101
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to retrieving and displaying contextually-relevant media content. In some embodiments, a device receives a request to display contextually-relevant media and, in response, displays a representation of a collection of media items relevant to a context of the device. In some embodiments, a device displays a visual media item of a sequence of items and, in response to receiving a swipe gesture, displays a detail user interface comprising related content for the media item. In some embodiments, a device, while displaying a first detail user interface, displays an affordance corresponding to a plurality of individuals identified as having attended a first event, that when selected, causes display of visual media corresponding to a plurality of events attended by the individuals. In some embodiments, a device, in response to user input, obtains an automatically-generated collection of visual media and displays a corresponding affordance.

  • Patent number: 12051235
Abstract: Synthetic training information/data of a second probe style is generated based on first probe information/data of a first probe style using a style transfer model. First probe information/data is defined. An instance of first probe information/data comprises labels and first probe style sensor information/data. A style transfer model generates training information/data based on at least a portion of the first probe information/data. An instance of training information/data corresponds to an instance of first probe information/data and comprises second probe style sensor information/data. The first and second probe styles are different. A second probe style model is trained using machine learning and the training information/data. The second probe style model is used to analyze second probe style second probe information/data to extract map information/data from the second probe information/data. Each instance of second probe data is captured by one or more second probe sensors of a second probe apparatus.

  • Patent number: 12050766
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to manipulating a user interface on a wearable electronic device using a mechanical crown. In some examples, the user interface can be scrolled or scaled in response to a rotation of the crown. The direction of the scrolling or scaling and the amount of scrolling or scaling can depend on the direction and amount of rotation of the crown, respectively. In some examples, the amount of scrolling or scaling can be proportional to the change in rotation angle of the crown. In other examples, a speed of scrolling or a speed of scaling can depend on a speed of angular rotation of the crown. In these examples, a greater speed of rotation can cause a greater speed of scrolling or scaling to be performed on the displayed view.

  • Publication number: 20240226539
Abstract: Presented herein are techniques for monitoring the insertion of an intra-cochlear stimulating assembly for the occurrence of one or more insertion stop conditions. The insertion stop conditions are detectable events indicating that movement of the stimulating assembly into a recipient's cochlea should be at least temporarily stopped. The insertion monitoring is based on objectively measured inner ear potentials, such as acoustically-evoked potentials.

  • Patent number: 12032803
Abstract: A computer system displays a first view of a three-dimensional environment. While displaying the first view, the computer system detects a first movement of a first hand that meets first criteria, and in response, displays a first virtual object that includes a first plurality of selectable controls at a first position in the first view, wherein the first position corresponds to a location of the first hand after the first movement in a physical environment. While displaying the first virtual object at the first position, the computer system detects a second movement of the first hand, and in response, displays movement of a representation of the first hand in the first view in accordance with the second movement of the first hand relative to a position of the first virtual object in the first view.

  • Publication number: 20240217546
Abstract: A live map system may be used to propagate observations collected by autonomous vehicles operating in an environment to other autonomous vehicles and thereby supplement a digital map used in the control of the autonomous vehicles. In addition, a live map system in some instances may be used to propagate location-based teleassist triggers to autonomous vehicles operating within an environment. A location-based teleassist trigger may be generated, for example, in association with a teleassist session conducted between an autonomous vehicle and a remote teleassist system proximate a particular location, and may be used to automatically trigger a teleassist session for another autonomous vehicle proximate that location and/or to propagate a suggested action to that other autonomous vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240220195
Abstract: Systems and methods for a media content system. A media content provider includes storage for storing and serving video content to subscribers. The media content provider records and or otherwise stores video content from around the world. The system includes display devices configured to identify and tailor content to multiple individual users. Each user may have individual settings which provide for a customized viewing environment and experience. The system is configured to identify users of the system in order to tailor the content as appropriate. In addition, identification of users allows for the identification of the subscription content that corresponds to the user. Based upon identification of a user and corresponding subscription, the user's subscription content may be streamed to any location. In this manner, the users subscribed content may follow the user from home to a friend's house, or elsewhere.

  • Publication number: 20240211893
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for automatically generating an appointment for an electronic calendar. The method receives input to create a new appointment for the calendar. The method analyzes several previous appointments stored for the first calendar. Based on the analysis, the method automatically proposes a new appointment that has at least one appointment characteristic shared with at least one past appointment stored for the calendar. In some embodiments, the method receives text input describing a characteristic of the new appointment, and searches through the previous appointments using the text input.

  • Publication number: 20240205605
Abstract: A context-aware voice guidance method is provided that interacts with other voice services of a user device. The voice guidance does not provide audible guidance while the user is making a verbal request to any of the voice-activated services. Instead, the voice guidance transcribes its output on the screen while the verbal requests from the user are received. In some embodiments, the voice guidance only provides a short warning sound to get the user's attention while the user is speaking on a phone call or another voice-activated service is providing audible response to the user's inquires. The voice guidance in some embodiments distinguishes between music that can be ducked and spoken words, for example from an audiobook, that the user wants to pause instead of being skipped. The voice guidance ducks music but pauses spoken words of an audio book in order to provide voice guidance to the user.
