  • Publication number: 20240192764
Abstract: A computer system displays a first view of a three-dimensional environment, including a first and second user interface objects at distinct first and second positions. While displaying the first view, the computer system detects a first gaze input directed to a first region in the three-dimensional environment corresponding to the first position. While detecting the first gaze input, the computer system detects first movement of a hand meeting first gesture criteria. In accordance with a determination that the first movement is detected after the first gaze input meets first gaze criteria requiring the gaze to be held at the first region for at least a first preset extended amount of time, the computer system selects the first user interface object; and in accordance with a determination that the first movement is detected before the gaze meeting the first gaze criteria, the computer system forgoes selecting the first user interface object.

  • Publication number: 20240184356
Abstract: A computer system displays a view of a communication session between a first and second user of a first and second display generation component, respectively. The view of the communication session includes a view of a three-dimensional environment, virtual content shared between the first and second user, and a representation of the second user based on a virtual spatial relationship between the first and second user in the three-dimensional environment. While displaying the view of the communication session, the computer system displays a user interface, including a control object, and detects a user input activating the control object. In response, the computer system modifies the appearance of a three-dimensional region of the three-dimensional environment for the first user of the first display generation component, and initiates a process for modifying the appearance of the three-dimensional region of the three-dimensional environment displayed at the second display generation component.

  • Publication number: 20240184422
Abstract: An electronic device having a display and a touch-sensitive surface displays a representation of a media item that corresponds to a sequence of images including a representative image. In response to detecting a first input, the device displays an editing user interface that concurrently displays: a first area sequentially displaying images in the sequence of images at a first magnification; and a distinct second area including representations of the images at a second magnification less than the first magnification, and a user-adjustable representative-image-selection affordance for selecting a new representative image. The device detects a second input moving the user-adjustable representative-image-selection affordance in the second area. The device displays in the first area an image corresponding to the user-adjustable representative-image-selection affordance current position in the second area.

  • Patent number: 11998304
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a ring-shaped wearable device for detecting biometrics with a light source and a photodetector directed towards a digit wearing the ring-shaped device. The ring can thus detect oxygen saturation of a wearer based on light transmitted through the wearer's finger. The ring can include power saving measures to extend the battery life. A motion sensor can help determine opportune moments for data collection such as when the wearer is still. The motion sensor can be used to remove noise from the data caused by motion. After data is collected or during data collection, the ring can wirelessly communicate the data to another portable electronic device such as a phone or watch.

  • Patent number: 12001670
Abstract: A device with a display and a touch-sensitive surface displays a user interface including an object. While displaying the user interface, the device detects a first and a second portion of an input, where the first portion includes contact(s) at a location corresponding to the object and the second portion includes movement of the contact(s). In response: upon determining that the second portion was detected shortly after detecting the contact(s): when the first input has a first predefined number of contacts, the device drags the user interface object or a representation; and when the first input has a second predefined number of contacts, the device forgoes the dragging. Further in response, upon determining that the second portion was detected after the contact(s) had been detected at the location for at least the first threshold amount of time, the device drags the user interface object or the representation thereof.
