  • Patent number: 5706737
Abstract: A multi-purpose storage apparatus having interchangeable shelving for use in storage of sporting goods is disclosed. Shelf construction consists of rod members or alternatively, shelf construction may consist of a single plastic piece having steel tubes integrated into the shelf. In this manner, the consumer may construct a shelf configuration for a particular sporting item. Structural rigidity is provided through the rod members having steel tubing that is encapsulated in a plastic sleeve through a manufacturing process while the plastic shelf has the steel tube directly integrated. The storage apparatus is secured to a wall and includes provisions for support of a bicycle, as well as miscellaneous small items through the use of a support tray.

  • Patent number: 5704384
Abstract: The hose cart with tray of the present invention is of a shape and design allowing preassembly thereby eliminating the need for instruction manuals and associated product packaging necessary of hose carts that are sold in an unassembled state. The hose cart employs a single unitary frame for support of a flexible garden hose to be wound into a coil of multiple layers by use of a directional stress relieving hose reel spool. Reel flanges are oblong shaped for holding of the hose within the formed spool yet providing the nesting ability for assembled carts. A handle is foldable for storage with locks concealed within the base of the handle, and a foldable storage tray which is pivotally attached to a bracket mounted to the handle crossbar. Syringe type hub attachments are further disclosed for removal and maintenance of the water seals without tools.

  • Patent number: 5669515
Abstract: The instant invention is a tool rack constructed from a single piece of plastic having provisions for securing a variety of tool sizes on outwardly extending support members. The tool hanger has provisions to allow for nesting of multiple tool hangers for purposes of storage and shipping. In addition, multiple tool hangers may be placed adjacent to each other by use of an interlocking type adjoinment which can be secured to a stud surface by nails, screws or the like fasteners. Aperture holes are provided in combinations of 8" derivatives allowing for coupling to twenty-four or sixteen inch centers.

  • Patent number: 5553712
Abstract: The instant invention is a container designed specifically for storing and displaying trading cards. The container has a main storage area, a hidden storage area, and a display floor. Construction allows for the stackability of containers by use of a lower tab which engages a peripheral edge formed by molded indicia placed on the upper surface. The main storage compartment of the container includes two fixed dividers allowing for placement of trading cards along the longitudinal length of the container wherein slots are provided for placement of loose leaf dividers allowing for individual separation. Between the two fixed dividers is another storage area having an increased depth which allows for placement of oversized cards or specialty cards. When the lid is placed in an open position, the handle operates as a stand and the bottom surface of the lid provides a card display area.

  • Patent number: 5549262
Abstract: The instant invention is a low cost hose guide consisting of a one-piece spike having a first pointed end and a second flat surface available for tapping the pointed end into the ground. The spike includes locking tabs for placement of a single piece roller that is engaged in an area above the locking tabs and below the second surface and is rotatable around the spike. Once the hose guide is positioned into the ground a hose may be dragged around the hose guide wherein the hose guide maintains the hose in a guided fashion so as to prevent damage to critical areas such as flower beds and infant vegetation.

  • Patent number: 5483901
Abstract: The present invention is a foldable tray table of modular construction with readily replaceable and interchangeable plastic molded components which can be assembled by hand and include a tray having an underside with a pair of first legs and second legs connected thereto. The upper end of each first leg has a journal pin operatively adapted for being disposed and snap-fit between one pair of journal mounting brackets formed on the underside of the tray. When its journal pin is so disposed, each first leg is pivotal relative to the tray. The second legs are joined together at their upper ends by an integral locking bar. A pivot plug is formed intermediate the ends of and extending from one of each of the first legs and the second legs for interconnecting with a pivot hole formed intermediate the ends of and in the other of each of the first legs and the second legs.

  • Patent number: 5464115
Abstract: The present invention is a footlocker of molded plastic construction which includes a bin having a storage cavity and a lid hinged to the bin for enclosing the storage cavity. Two plastic latches are used to secure the lid in its closed relation above the bin. Each of the latches includes a face plate with a front surface which preferably has graphic indicia molded therein. In order to lock the lid in its closed position and thereby safeguard the contents of the bin, the footlocker preferably includes a padlock hasp. In order to hold the lid open in any position, the footlocker includes a lid stay mechanism connected between the lid and the bin. The bin has a plurality of continuously molded feet and the top surface of the lid a plurality of stacking depressions molded therein for receiving the feet and thereby enabling multiple footlockers to be stacked on top of one another.
