  • Patent number: 12266844
Abstract: Increasing demand for communications systems for facilitating communications such as communications satellites leads to continuously increasing frequency bands of the signal for communication and the quantity of beams carrying the signals may make it more and more difficult to have a significant number of mechanical and electrical components concentrated in a location in proximity to the array while maintaining antenna efficiency. Provided is a direct radiating array (“DRA”) antenna for transmitting or receiving an electromagnetic radio frequency (“RF”) signal of at least one predetermined signal frequency band and a method of assembly that overcomes at least some of the disadvantages of existing direct radiating array systems and methods. The DRA antenna comprising a plurality of radiating elements, a plurality of RF signal chain paths and a beamforming network board having a plurality of electrical ports for electrically connecting to the plurality of RF signal chain paths.

  • Patent number: 12229229
Abstract: Embodiments described include systems and methods for adding watermarks using an embedded browser. To provide protection to sensitive information from a network application rendered via an embedded browser of a client application, the client application can generate an overlay with a digital watermark, and apply the overlay over the embedded browser. The client application can selectively generate such overlays, and can customize the format of the digital watermark according to the information rendered on the embedded browser. The watermark can remain with any information that is imaged from the embedded browser, and provides a deterrent against misuse of the information via image capture from a computer screen for instance. By adjusting properties (e.g., contrast) of such an image, the watermark can be made visible and detectable, thus allowing such imaging activities and information to be tracked.

  • Patent number: 12138639
Abstract: Embodiments provide a fluid recovery system and method for use with concentrator systems for concentrating particles suspended in a fluid and where this suspension is recovered from a fluid stream drawn from the concentrator system. A controller is configured to control valve actuation to direct concentrate being drawn from the concentrator chamber through a recovery tube to a recovery reservoir based on fluid volume movement. The system can use a density sensor to detect density transitions in fluid in the fluid recovery tube to identify leading and trailing edges of a portion of concentrated particles in fluid suspension passing through the recovery tube and actuate recovery valves based on objectives for maximising particle recovery with minimal dilution.

  • Patent number: 11722528
Abstract: A technique uses a managed computing device to extend management control by an organization to IoT (Internet of Things) devices in a local environment of the computing device. The computing device discovers any local IoT devices and participates in a communication with a server to bring one or more of the IoT devices under management control. In some examples, extending management control involves enrolling selected IoT devices into a management framework of the organization and directing communications between the server and the respective IoT devices through the managed device, which provides a point-of-presence for administering management of the selected IoT devices in the local environment.
