  • Publication number: 20080199875
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide methods and nucleic acid reporter molecules for the detection of nucleic acid in a sample. The nucleic acid reporter molecule comprises two unsymmetrical cyanine monomer moieties, which may be the same or different, that are covalently attached by a linker comprising at least one aromatic, heteroaromatic, cyclic or heterocyclic moiety comprising 3-20 non-hydrogen atoms selected from the group consisting of O, N, S, P and C. The linker may be rigid, relatively flexible or some degree thereof. The unsymmetrical cyanine monomer moieties comprise a substituted or unsubstituted benzazolium moiety and a substituted or unsubstituted pyridinium or quinolinium moiety that is connected by a methine bridge that is monomethine, trimethine or pentamethine. The linkers form the cyanine dimer compounds by attaching to the pyridinium or quinolinium moiety of the monomer moieties.

  • Publication number: 20070268043
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a differential signaling circuit including differential signaling circuitry having at least one output and one input, that can operate in multiple mode of operations while using a single, low voltage supply source. Two or more switches are included and configured to selectively couple a supply voltage to the output dependent on a mode of operation of the differential signaling circuitry. The circuit also includes a switch control biasing circuit operatively coupled to at least one of the switches and to the output of the differential signaling circuitry. The switch control biasing circuit provides a switch control biasing voltage to control a state of the switch based on a voltage level of the output. Further, a bulk biasing circuit is included and operatively coupled to the switch. • Publication number: 20060103101
Abstract: A stabilizer bar includes having bends forming angled portions. The angled portions are supported by bushings that are secured by straps to a vehicle frame. The stabilizer bar rotates about a axis. The bushings supporting the stabilizer bar have an axes that are transverse to the pivotal axis of the stabilizer bar and to one another. The bushings have flared or thickened portions at their outer ends to provide additional bushing material since the misaligned pivotal axis permits the stabilizer bar to deflect the bushing as it rotates. The straps may be cupped so that they laterally locate the bushings as the stabilizer bar rotate about its pivotal axis.

  • Publication number: 20060103100
Abstract: A suspension assembly includes an inventive bushing having an integrated bushing and strap supporting a stabilizer bar. The bushing includes a body having a hole for receiving the stabilizer bar. A base of the body may include a cut so that the bushing can be spread apart to insert the stabilizer bar through the cut and into the hole. The bushing includes a shell around the exterior of the body that provides legs which are used to secure the inventive bushing to the vehicle frame. The shell includes one or more layers of cords similar to the steel belting of a tire to provide structural integrity to the shell. Layers of cords can be arranged at angles relative to one another to provide increased lateral stability.
