  • Publication number: 20240187395
Abstract: An access control system is provided to prevent the surreptitious granting of access to privacy related functionality on an electronic device. Software-based events to grant access to device functionality can be validated by confirming that the software event corresponds with a hardware input event. This validation prevents the spoofing of a user interface input that may be used to fraudulently grant access to specific functionality.

  • Publication number: 20240183470
Abstract: A fitting includes a first and second threaded fitting component and a conduit gripping device receivable within the first threaded fitting component. A stroke resisting member is integral with the first threaded fitting component and includes a web having a first radial thickness and extending axially inward from the first threaded fitting component to a distal ring portion having a second radial thickness greater than the first radial thickness. A radially extending bearing surface of the distal ring portion axially engages a radially extending portion of the second fitting component when the first and second fitting components are joined together to the first relative axial position. The stroke resisting member resists additional axial stroke of the first and second fitting components, such that a tightening torque beyond the first relative axial position is increased by the axial engagement.

  • Patent number: 12002015
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for dynamic routing of electronic transactions. One method comprises receiving a request message from a merchant system and determining a routing directive associated with the request message. Upon determining the routing directive, contextual data may be retrieved based on the routing directive. Then, a final destination payment processor may be determined based on the routing directive and the contextual data. The request message may be updated based on the final destination payment processor. The updated request message may then be transmitted to a downstream entity for further processing.

  • Patent number: 12001670
Abstract: A device with a display and a touch-sensitive surface displays a user interface including an object. While displaying the user interface, the device detects a first and a second portion of an input, where the first portion includes contact(s) at a location corresponding to the object and the second portion includes movement of the contact(s). In response: upon determining that the second portion was detected shortly after detecting the contact(s): when the first input has a first predefined number of contacts, the device drags the user interface object or a representation; and when the first input has a second predefined number of contacts, the device forgoes the dragging. Further in response, upon determining that the second portion was detected after the contact(s) had been detected at the location for at least the first threshold amount of time, the device drags the user interface object or the representation thereof.

  • Patent number: 12001970
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to automated pairing of customers and businesses. A computing platform may determine, based on historical user activity of a user, a pattern of the user activity, and may identify, based on the pattern of the user activity, an anticipated purchase activity of the user. Then, the computing platform may determine a sales offering by a vendor. Then, the computing platform may match the anticipated purchase activity with the sales offering. Then, the computing platform may retrieve user-defined preference rules associated with the anticipated purchase activity. Then, the computing platform may determine whether the preference rules apply to one or more attributes of the anticipated purchase activity. Subsequently, the computing platform may trigger, based on a determination that the preference rules apply to the one or more attributes of the anticipated purchase activity, an action associated with the anticipated purchase activity.
