Abstract: A printer includes a housing, a print engine within the housing, a door to cover a portion of the housing, and a hinge assembly coupled to the housing and the door to support the door in a closed position to cover the portion of the housing and an open position to uncover the portion of the housing, wherein, in the open position, the door is offset from the housing by the hinge assembly.

Abstract: A distributed network of computing equipment and software to configure and distribute education content to students, educators and administrators. The system comprises tablets, or other mobile devices for each student and educator, each uniquely identified within the system. Content from servers is securely distributed to the mobile devices accessed through a single sign on based on the requirements of each user both initially at the time they begin a program, and updated or removed during a particular course or program. The content includes education applications that provide interactive features with textbook material, practice, and assessments, the activity of which can be tracked and configured by the educators and administrators.

Abstract: An approach is provided for registering specific content in a portable storage medium to a digital locker. The portable storage medium is configured to include a content access application which causes the user interface to display a content access and registration part on a terminal executing the content access application, to request user entry of access validation information associated with the specific content. Upon access validation, the specific content can be registered to the digital locker of the user.

Abstract: An adjustable T square alignment device for providing enhanced flexibility while cutting drywall or other planar objects. The adjustable T square alignment device comprises a blade defining a rigid, elongated structural body having an integral elongated sliding slot, a head defining a rigid structural member having a wide base portion and a narrow sliding portion, and a fastening system operative to both secure the head to the blade, with the sliding portion positioned in the sliding slot, and fix the head at a desired lengthwise position on the blade. In this regard, the head may be selectively repositioned along the length of the blade by sliding it lengthwise but not moved angularly relative to the blade.

Abstract: Various systems and methods for personal sensory drones are described herein. A personal sensory drone system includes a drone remote control system comprising: a task module to transmit a task to a drone swarm for the drone swarm to execute, the drone swarm including at least two drones; a transceiver to receive information from the drone swarm related to the task; and a user interface module to present a user interface based on the information received from the drone swarm.

Abstract: Efficient architecture for a secure access enforcement proxy is described. The proxy interfaces with multiple subsystems and multiple shared resources. The proxy identifies an original transaction command being sent from one of the subsystems to one of the shared resources, identifies a policy corresponding to the subsystem, performs an action pertaining to the original transaction command based on the policy, and sends a response to the subsystem based on the action.

Abstract: A system and apparatus for preparing bulk quantities of dry colorant or pigment for blending with mortar are described. The system mixes pigments of black, red, white and yellow to prepare a batch of the dry colorant having a particular color. The pigments or dry colorant are generally a powder of metal oxide crystals. The system includes pigment dispensers, wherein each pigment dispenser includes a tote that is in flowing communication with a valve. A receptacle receives pigments from the exit opening of the vibratory trays. A control unit serially operates the vibratory trays to dispense the pigment from each tote. A scale measures the weight of the pigments in the receptacle. The scale is in operational communication with the control unit.

A sample and reagent delivery unit is operatively connected to a thermal cycler for amplification of target nucleic acids. Microspheres are hybridized to the resulting amplicons in the thermal cycler. A flow cytometer is operatively connected to the thermal cycler or optionally a bead trap for washing the microspheres.
