Abstract: A system and apparatus for preparing bulk quantities of dry colorant or pigment for blending with mortar are described. The system mixes pigments of black, red, white and yellow to prepare a batch of the dry colorant having a particular color. The pigments or dry colorant are generally a powder of metal oxide crystals. The system includes pigment dispensers, wherein each pigment dispenser includes a tote that is in flowing communication with a valve. A receptacle receives pigments from the exit opening of the vibratory trays. A control unit serially operates the vibratory trays to dispense the pigment from each tote. A scale measures the weight of the pigments in the receptacle. The scale is in operational communication with the control unit.

A sample and reagent delivery unit is operatively connected to a thermal cycler for amplification of target nucleic acids. Abstract: The preferred embodiment of the present invention is directed to a method of operating an online rental program by a rental retailer. Specifically, rental items are delivered to a subscriber via an independent mail carrier such as the United States Postal Service, wherein a rental item is sent to a subscriber along with a return mailing envelope that includes a return mailing label for mailing the rental back to the rental retailer. In accordance with the preferred embodiment, the return mailing label includes a mailing code that can be scanned by the independent mail carrier for purposes of informing the rental retailer, upon receiving the return envelope at a receiving facility of the independent mail carrier, that a rental item has been received and is being delivered back to the rental retailer. Once the rental retailer receives confirmation from the independent mail carrier that a rental item is being mailed back from a subscriber, the rental retailer sends out a next rental item to the subscriber.

Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method for painting using a holder having a first loop portion configured to receive an edge of a paint container, and second loop configured to receive an edge of a paint container, and a clip for releasably receiving a paint applicator such as a paint brush. Each loop portion may be positioned at a different location on the holder, and may have an opening facing in a common or in an opposite direction to the opening of the other loop portion. Additional loop portions may also be provided, at different locations and/or having openings pointing in different directions.
