Abstract: A bottle cap includes a top and a skirt depending from the top, the skirt having a bottom edge, a locking bead radially extending inward from an interior of the skirt intermediate the top and the bottom edge, a tear tab extending downward from the bottom edge, a first tear line proximate the tear tab and extending upward along the skirt from the bottom edge across the locking bead and terminating at a terminus adjacent to or below the perimeter. The first tear line is substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the cap. The first tear line and the longitudinal axis define a radially extending plane P. The bottle cap also includes a second tear line proximate the tear tab and spaced from the first tear line. An upper portion of the second tear line extending through the plane P and between the terminus and the longitudinal axis. A method of using the bottle cap is also disclosed.

Abstract: Formulations and methods of making solar cells are disclosed. In general, the invention provides a solar cell comprising a contact made from a mixture wherein, prior to firing, the mixture comprises at least one aluminum source, at least one boron source, and about 0.1 to about 10 wt % of a glass component. Within the mixture, the overall content of aluminum is about 50 wt % to about 85 wt % of the mixture, and the overall content of boron is about 0.05 to about 20 wt % of the mixture.

Abstract: My new FRUITS PEELER WITH CUTTING PART is a very simple single piece of metal plate which have a round peeling part inside of metal and a cutter outside of the same metal to peel and cut fruits. I realized and invented that round peeling part is the most efficiency to peel out the round and convex surfaces of fruits. And I added a cutting part outside of the same metal to cut and eat comfortably. It is easy to make it because of one piece of single metal plate.

According to one exemplary method, the distance between a first target location and a second target location within a lumen are measured by aligning a first marker on a first elongate member disposed within a lumen with the first target location. A second marker on a second elongate member disposed within the lumen is aligned with the second target location. The distance between the first and second markers is then measured, and the measured distance corresponds to the distance between the first and second target locations.

Abstract: A gun sight system for accurately directing a bullet of a firearm towards a target, comprising a front sight and a rear sight each having a transparent medium with a geometric shape inscribed upon the transparent medium. By looking through the rear sight towards the front sight and aligning the geometric shapes in a pre-determined manner with the target seen in the background through the transparent mediums, an accurate contact of the bullet with the target is guaranteed upon firing the firearm.

Abstract: The invention provides apparatus for determining physiological characteristics of body lumens, such as the length of a blood vessel. A catheter allows measurements of the distance between a first target location and a second target location within a lumen by aligning a first marker on a first elongate member disposed within a lumen with the first target location. A second marker on a second elongate member disposed within the lumen is aligned with the second target location. The distance between the first and second markers is then directly measured from spaced-apart calibration marks along the second member, and the measured distance corresponds to the distance between the first and second target locations.
