  • Publication number: 20250246638
Abstract: A method and system for joining strips of battery grid comprises feeding a first strip of battery grid into a processing station at a predetermined feed rate, and progressively increasing the path length of the first strip until a target path length is reached. When the end of the first strip is reached, the path length of the first strip is progressively decreased while holding the end of the first strip. The rate of decrease allows the first strip to continue to be delivered into the processing station at the predetermined feed rate. A second strip is advanced from a second feed supply to a position adjacent the end of the first strip. The adjacent ends are joined by laser welding. The decreasing of the path length is stopped, and the second strip of battery grid is fed into the processing station at the predetermined feed rate.

  • Patent number: 12375542
Abstract: A streaming end-user media device includes memory storing a program of instructions, and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to execute the program of instructions to access media automation services provided by media-provider back-end systems via a cloud-based sequencer, and detect unavailability of the cloud-based sequencer. In response to detecting the unavailability of the cloud-based sequencer, disconnect the streaming end-user media device from the cloud-based sequencer, and initiate a separate connection to the media-provider back-end systems using a link that bypasses the cloud-based sequencer.

  • Patent number: 12373552
Abstract: A fraud detection system obtains a number of known fraudulent end-user profiles and/or otherwise undesirable end-user profiles. Using statistical analysis techniques that include clustering the end-user profiles by attributes and attribute values and/or combinations of attributes and attribute values, the fraud detection system identifies on a continuous, periodic, or aperiodic basis those attribute values and/or attribute value combinations that appear in fraudulent or otherwise undesirable end-user profiles. Using this data, the fraud detection system generates one or more queries to identify those end-user profiles having attribute values or combinations of attribute values that likely indicate a fraudulent or otherwise undesirable end-user profile.
