Abstract: A privacy screen for a work station includes a first panel and a second panel. A rail is connected to the first panel. The rail runs along at least a portion of a length of the first panel. A carriage slides along the rail. A hinge connects the carriage and the proximate end of the second panel, thereby permitting the second panel to pivot in relation to the first panel.

Abstract: An up-assist/soft close support mechanism for a cabinet door that opens by moving upwardly and then rearwardly to a partly horizontal position above the cabinet. The mechanism includes pairs of unequal length links on opposite end walls of the cabinet. One of those links is designed as a bell crank. A gas cylinder is coupled between one arm of the bell crank and the cabinet end wall, while the second arm of the bell crank is connected to the door. When a user begins to open the door, the gas cylinder exerts a turning movement about the bell crank which assists opening movement of the door. Conversely, when a user begins to close the door, the bell crank turns in the opposite direction and exerts a compressive force on the cylinder, providing a “soft close” function.

Abstract: A power column providing a conduit for power and communications wiring in a building includes a column structure having electrical power outlets and video data modules (VDMs) accessible on opposite flat end faces of the column structure. An isolated electrical raceway within the column structure includes the electrical outlets. The column structure is pre-wired electrically with wiring that extends through the raceway to the top end of the structure. Pre-wiring allows the column to be installed and then connected to an electrical supply after installation.

Abstract: An electrical station provides a structure having the ability to receive power and communication cable in several different ways while maintaining the ability to change as required. The electrical station has a top open panel to expose electrical and communication receptacles located therebelow. The electrical station also includes a front opening access panel for service or better access for wire management.

Abstract: A file tower structure is disclosed and has a rail configuration at the top thereof for hanging of office accessories to the exterior thereof. The office accessories can be stored within the file structure when not in use. Preferrably the file structure is mobile and has particular application for workers who do not require a dedicated office.

Abstract: The privacy screen provides a simple, effective solution to provide visual privacy for the traditional open workstations of office panelling systems. The privacy screen can easily be retrofitted to existing systems without the need for specialized panels or overhead mounting structure at an opening threshold. The privacy screen is mounted to overlap with a face of a panel adjacent a panel and extend there beyond to close the entryway to the workstation.

Abstract: A support post and work surface support bracket attaches to a horizontal channel of office panels frame to provide a convenient variable height work suffice support at any point along the length of the panel frame. The post preferably has a tube as the main component thereof and slots are provided in the tube for receiving hooks on the work surface support bracket.

Abstract: A height adjustable work table comprises a work surface and at least three adjustable leg arrangements supporting said work surface. Each leg arrangement comprises a curved leg supported in a leg bracket attached beneath the work surface. Each leg bracket is an open channel having predetermined support positions for engaging the curved leg with fasteners for releasably securing the leg in any of the support positions.
