  • Patent number: 10895966
Abstract: In various embodiments, methods and systems for implementing a multi-device mixed interactivity system are provided. The interactivity system includes paired mixed-input devices for interacting and controlling virtual objects. In operation, a selection input associated with a virtual object is accessed. The selection input is based on real input associated with a selection device and virtual input associated with a mixed-reality device. The selection device has a first display that displays the virtual object and the mixed-reality device has a second display that displays the virtual object. A selection profile is generated based on the selection input. The selection profile comprises one or more selection profile attributes for isolating a portion of the virtual object. A selected portion of the virtual object is determined based on the selection profile. The selected portion of the virtual reality object is caused to be displayed on the first display of the selection device.

  • Patent number: 10897394
Abstract: Techniques for deploying a server stack having a cross-server dependency are disclosed. A deployment engine initiates a deployment process for a server stack. The deployment engine provisions servers of one server type (“requisite servers”). The deployment engine attempts to provision servers of another server type (“dependent servers”). The deployment engine executes a test that requires the dependent servers to invoke a service executed by the requisite servers. Based on the test results, the deployment engine determines that an operational requirement of the dependent servers is not satisfied. The deployment engine modifies a configuration for the requisite servers to satisfy the operational requirement of the dependent servers. The deployment engine re-provisions the requisite servers using the modified configuration. The deployment engine completes the deployment process for the server stack.

  • Patent number: 10881244
Abstract: A lid assembly that can be placed on a pan having a bottom surface that is configured for placement on a burner of the stove top with one or more foods to be cooked supported above an inner bottom surface of the pan by a rack. The lid assembly covers the pan and thereby encloses the one or more foods to be cooked and the rack within a cavity defined by the pan and the lid assembly. An air flow generator mounted on a shaft that extends through a cover portion of the lid from a motor disposed on an opposite side of the cover portion rotates the shaft to produce airflow within the cavity. The lid assembly cooks foods in less time and using less energy than normally required with a conventional oven.

  • Publication number: 20200410832
Abstract: A method of operation triggers an alert when cameras or sensors determine an action e.g. entry into or occupancy of a reserved region. The system transmits a caution to the pilgrim to present a credential or affirm proper attire and safety equipage upon entry into the penumbra of the reserved region. Within the penumbra, a pilgrim may preempt the access control challenge or alert by presenting his credential or by signally his intention to enter the reserved region. A process of the surveillance and security system includes recording all entries and occupancy of reserved areas but suppressing alarms and alerts on the condition that a credential bearer is within the geo-fenced region. A reserved area has both umbra and penumbra regions with various effects of entry, occupancy, and presentation of credentials. Receiving a presented credential causes alerts to be preempted in the penumbra and to be unfaulted in the umbra.

  • Patent number: 10760989
Abstract: Submersible transducer includes a transducer housing configured to be submerged within an aqueous liquid and a pressure sensor operable to obtain data for determining a pressure of the aqueous liquid. The pressure sensor may be disposed within the transducer housing. The submersible transducer also includes a submersible cable having an electrical conductor and a venting tube operably coupled to the pressure sensor. The pressure sensor uses an atmospheric pressure of an external environment that is detected through the venting tube to determine the pressure of the aqueous liquid. The submersible cable also includes a cable jacket and an inner layer that is surrounded by the cable jacket. The inner layer surrounds the electrical conductor and the venting tube. The inner layer includes a non-hygroscopic polymer that is more resistant to absorbing the aqueous liquid than the cable jacket.
