Abstract: Techniques for utilizing excess heat generated by an oven to generate electricity are provided. In one example, an oven can comprise a coolant pathway positioned adjacent to a hollow space within the oven, wherein the hollow space can contain heat. The oven can also comprise a chamber in fluid communication with the coolant pathway. The oven can further comprise a turbine in fluid communication with the chamber and an outlet. Moreover, the oven can comprise a generator connected to the turbine, wherein rotation of the turbine can power the generator.

Abstract: A drinking vessel including a beverage container and a closure assembly attachable to the beverage container. The beverage container has a spout defining a first drinking opening and a second drinking opening. The closure assembly includes a positioning member and a sealing member. When the positioning member is in a sealing orientation, the positioning member can extend deep enough into the first drinking opening for the sealing member to seal the first drinking opening and the second drinking opening. When the positioning member is not in the sealing orientation, the positioning member cannot extend deep enough into the first drinking opening for the sealing member to seal the first drinking opening and the second drinking opening.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for operations and maintenance (O&M) systems for controlling the operation of a second system, wherein the second system includes a plurality of objects (i.e., components and/or subsystems). The O&M system comprises means for evaluating at least one of the plurality of objects using a first model to produce a first prediction of a characteristic of the object; evaluating at least one of the plurality of objects using a second model to produce a second prediction of the characteristic of the object, the second model being dissimilar to the first model; generating a final prediction of the characteristic of the object as a function of dynamic weightings of the first prediction and the second prediction; and, executing an operational or maintenance decision with respect to the second system as a function of the final prediction of the characteristic of the at least one of the plurality of objects.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include identity verification and management services in which users authenticate their identities during an enrollment process, and may access and modify their identity information via a secure portal. The enrollment process includes collecting various identifying data and biometric data of a user. A live interview portion during the enrollment process is used to check the liveness and verify the collected identifying data and biometric data. Once the user is enrolled, the user's identity can be verified for multiple entities using the same enrolled identity, and the user can manage the specific data used to verify their identity with different entities. This provides users with the ability to use their authenticated/verified identity across various industries, markets, locations, and the like, while keeping their identifying data private. Abstract: A heat transfer assembly includes a heat plate coupled to a spring and to a graphite sheet. The spring is at first location corresponding to a heat source in an assembled device. The graphite sheet extends over at least a middle portion of the spring and over portions of the heat plate. The graphite sheet is coupled to a thermal pad positioned above a given surface of the heat source. The spring provides a compressive force on the thermal pad when the device is in an assembled state. The compressive force enhances thermal conductivity between the heat source and the heat transfer assembly. The heat plate may be positioned within and thermally coupled to a cover of the device. Principally by use of the thermal pad, graphite sheet, and thermal plate, heat generated by the heat source is transferred to the cover and then to the external environment.
