  • Publication number: 20250093209
Abstract: An ultra-thin film wireless label can include a temperature sensor. The wireless label can be attached to an object, and the wireless label can be used as a temperature monitoring device. The wireless label can have a stacked structure laying the temperature sensor to have efficient thermal contact with the object, while being relatively insulated from the environment via an insulating layer. The temperature sensor can be calibrated, and the calibration parameters can be stored and used to generate accurate temperature readings. The calibrated wireless label can be used in a variety of applications, including performing battery-saving operations, detecting open-box events, and monitoring temperature of items stored in subzero environments. Some embodiments include activating a wireless label, during a printing process.

  • Publication number: 20250077125
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for access heatmap generation at a memory device are described. In some examples, a memory device may maintain a register for tracking access operation occurrence, for which access operations of an address of the memory device may be mapped to multiple fields of the register. In some cases, in response to a first access operation performed on a first address of the memory device, the memory device may increment a first field and a second field of the register and, in response to a second access operation performed on a second address of the memory device, the memory device may increment the first field and a third field of the register. In some examples, the memory device may maintain a second register having a set of fields that each indicate a respective address for which an access occurrence satisfies a threshold.

  • Publication number: 20250063835
Abstract: A single and dual path light detection and ranging (LiDAR) system can transmit and receive light through a silicon substrate backside of a photonic integrated circuit (PIC). The PIC can be interface with an electrical integrated circuit (EIC) using a front side that connects to the EIC using electrical contacts and a backside that faces away from the EIC. High density coupler elements (e.g., pixels, gratings) can emit and receive infrared light that propagates through the PIC layers and the backside towards objects to detection.

  • Publication number: 20250039084
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for techniques to balance log structured merge trees are described. A computing system may rebalance a tree structure having an ordered set of leaf nodes by splitting or joining leaf nodes of the tree structure. To split a leaf node, the computing system may select a key to evenly partition key and value data stored in the leaf. The computing system may place each key block of the leaf node having keys less than or equal to the selected key in a first new leaf node, and may place each key block of the leaf node having keys greater than the selected key in a second new leaf node. To join leaf nodes of the tree structure, the computing system may place each key block and each value block of the leaf node and the adjacent leaf node in a new leaf node.

  • Patent number: 12195054
Abstract: A system and method includes a first control system having one or more processors onboard a lead vehicle of a vehicle system that includes the lead vehicle and a remote vehicle. The second control system automatically restricts movement of the vehicle system based on a location of the vehicle system. The processors detect a signal instance of an operator actuating an input device, and communicate a vehicle information request message to the second control system. The second control system communicates a list of vehicle identifiers, that includes a vehicle identifier associated with the remote vehicle, to the processors. The processors communicate a wireless linking message, including a request to establish a communication link, to the remote vehicle based on the vehicle identifier associated with the remote vehicle.
