A grate subsystem contains the fuel and includes at least one grinding mechanism. A controller is responsive to the at least one sensor and controls the grinding mechanism by activating the grinding mechanism if the predetermined condition exists to reduce the collection of non-fuel products on the grate subsystem.

Abstract: A sighting system for visually acquiring a target includes an optic device having a transmissive LED array affixed thereon. The transmissive LED array includes two or more LED elements that are separately addressable to provide an aiming point. In embodiments, the sighting system receives information from an input system, such as ammunition information or environmental information, executes a ballistics program to determine ballistics information using the received information, and determines a range to the target. A controller calculates an aiming point using the ballistics information and the target range. The controller then addresses or energizes one of the LED elements to provide the aiming point.

Abstract: Various single crystals are disclosed including sapphire. The single crystals have desirable geometric properties, including a width not less than about 15 cm and the thickness is not less than about 0.5 cm. The single crystal may also have other features, such as a maximum thickness variation, and as-formed crystals may have a generally symmetrical neck portion, particularly related to the transition from the neck to the main body of the crystal. Methods and for forming such crystals and an apparatus for carrying out the methods are disclosed as well.

The system includes tagged data that is collected from a plurality of sustainability factor-associated data sources across an industrial automation environment, where the tagged data is associated with a portion of a process that is attributed to the sustainability factor data sources. A manufacturing model is associated with the tagged data, where the manufacturing model is employed to enhance the efficiencies of the process.

Abstract: A method for obtaining and analyzing information objects including generating, collecting or discovering information objects. The information objects are signified at least in part using deliberately ambiguated signifier prompts, for example, linear scale opposing negatives or positives, and/or multi-dimensional signifier prompts. The information objects may comprise text or non-text fragments, and may be generated or selected. The responses to the signifier prompts are stored with the fragments to provide a dataset of signified fragments. The signified fragments may be analyzed based on the signifiers and can be utilized as part of an explorable knowledge repository, or objective measures can be created to aid in mass opinion capture or human attitude auditing. The fragments may be represented on a graphical template.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for integrating an application engine with processes depicted by a flow-chart created by a Business Process Management (BPM) engine are presented. Execution of a first application, which is generated by a first application engine, is initiated. The first application performs a first subtask that is depicted by a first component of a flow-chart that has been previously generated by the BPM engine. A Workflow Integration Subsystem (WIS), which provides an interface between the first application engine and the BPM engine, selects the flow-chart that contains the first subtask performed by the first application. The BPM engine calls other application engines to perform other subtasks that supplement the first subtask, such that the first subtask and the other subtasks combine to perform an entire task that is depicted by the flow-chart.

Abstract: A repair apparatus for a vehicle has first and second telescoping pipes clamped to present a coupling part at elevated position and at a lateral position selected for restoring a damaged body portion of a vehicle. A leverage bar is secured to a receptacle joined by a hinge pin to each of the coupling parts of both telescoping pipes. A puller or one of popper heads of differing length is an attachment mounted by a hinge pin to the receptacle at spaced relation from the first hinge pin whereby a force excreted on the leverage bar simultaneously moves the quarter puller or popper head in a direction for restoring the damaged body portion of the vehicle. The position of the puller on the receptacle can be changed by removal of a hinge pin located between the puller and the leverage bar. Abstract: An audio/video recording apparatus stores and provides information regarding audio/video recording medium, such as recordable discs, recorded by the audio/video recording apparatus including disc number, disc name, title of audio/video content stored on the disc, and empty contiguous spaces available on the disc for additional recording. The present apparatus allows a user to look up and view such information about a disc even when the disc is not currently inserted or available by the apparatus. On-screen searching of all disc information stored to the disc library for a specified amount of space available for recording given a desired recording quality, is also provided. The present invention eliminates the need for a user to review blocks of contiguous, available space on a disc-by-disc basis to determine whether there is enough space to fit a desired recording.

Abstract: A temperature sensor adaptor assembly and method having a conversion circuit configured for receiving an input characteristic of an input temperature sensor and generating a pulse width signal having a pulse width that varies in response to the received input characteristic. The assembly also includes an output circuit coupled to the conversion circuit for receiving the pulse width signal, coupled to an output, and configured for providing an impedance at the output responsive to the pulse width of the received pulse width signal. The provided impedance at the output corresponds to an impedance of a synthesized temperature sensor that is different from the input temperature sensor.
