  • Patent number: 10075509
Abstract: A first capture system that captures network communication events related to an application, and a second capture system that captures internal processing events related to the application. A visualization system analyzes the data captured by each of the capture systems, synchronizes and correlates the data, and presents an integrated display of these communication and processing events. In a preferred embodiment, the communicated messages include an identifier of the application, and the processing components also associate an identifier of the application to each recorded processing event. To facilitate the integrated display of the events, the visualization system synchronizes the recorded communication and processing events to a common time base.

  • Patent number: 9208706
Abstract: A prefabricated sign assembly that is self-supporting once set in the ground. The sign assembly has a base post. The base post has a bottom ground spike and a top free end. An extender post is provided. The extender post slides over the top of the base post. An internal support post is provided. The bottom of the internal support post slides over the top of the extender post. A sign board is provided having a first face panel and a second face panel. The two face panels are joined at a spine panel. A polygonal hole is disposed through the spine panel. The internal support post extends through the hole, wherein the internal support post and the hole rotationally interlock. The first face panel and the second face panel of the sign board are folded against the internal support post and are secured with fasteners.

  • Patent number: 9201667
Abstract: A computer system supports hosting of virtual desktops using resources available in the cloud. Connections to various resources used by a desktop configuration are made dynamically using authentication information associated with the user assigned to the desktop configuration. In addition to using file storage, directory services and user management information on private resources on a private network, these resources may also be accessed through a public network.

  • Patent number: 8838397
Abstract: A mini-plot is generated using the actual raw measurement data, and gives a preview of a full-sized plot which is displayed when a user expresses interest in the mini-plot. In some embodiments, the mini-plot is sufficiently resolved to provide the user with graphical information about the measurement data. In some embodiments, the mini-plot is updated upon receiving new measurement data from an ongoing experiment. In some embodiments, the mini-plot is a mini-chromatogram. In some embodiments, the mini-plot is displayed in a table along with textual and/or numerical measurement data for an experiment (e.g., in listing textual and/or numerical chromatography data).

  • Publication number: 20140042700
Abstract: A polymer material is adapted to coat a weapons training target that has the ability to self-heal and maintain its useful life significantly longer than conventional targets. The polymer material includes a polyurea formed from a mixture of about 1 part isocyanate to about 1 part polyetheramine. Methods for making the targets include coating a target mold with the polyurea polymer coating.

  • Publication number: 20130253448
Abstract: A needle used for injecting viscous materials into a patient is provided. The needle would attach to a syringe. The needle end, although pointed, is blocked or stopped so that no fluid may exit. Along the barrel of the needle is a plurality of openings through which the viscous material or other medicament would be discharged into the patient. These openings may be circular, elliptical, square, rectangular or other geometric shapes. Certain sizes of the apertures and distance from one aperture to another are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7747402
Abstract: Electrochemical analysis is performed by applying one or more time-sequenced voltage waveforms in a solution and measuring the resulting current in the solution. Raw data representative of the measured current parameters may be integrated based on one or more integration time intervals, and the raw data may be displayed in one or more three dimensional plots. The integrated data and the raw data may also be displayed in one or more two-dimensional plots. The raw data is stored for three dimensional displays and the integrated data is stored for two dimensional displays. Baseline correction is performed on the raw data and the baseline corrected data is displayed in one or more three dimensional plots and in one or more two dimensional plots. The raw data is stored at a rate between 100 Hz and 10 KHz.

  • Publication number: 20080016412
Abstract: A metric monitoring and analysis system including dynamic sampling agents located in monitored system elements and a service management platform. Each sampling agent includes a data adapter collecting metric data in a common format, a threshold generator for determining dynamic metric threshold ranges, an alarm detector generating an indicator when a metric deviates outside a dynamic threshold range or a static threshold, and a deviation tracker generating an alarm severity scores. The service platform includes an alarm analyzer identifying root causes of system alarm conditions by correlation of grouped metrics or forensic analysis of temporally or statistically correlated secondary forensic data or data items from a service model of the system.
