Each configuration ROM includes an entry for a distinct identifier representing the corresponding link device thereby creating a one to one mapping of link device to node via the distinct configuration ROM.

A wire comb is mounted adjacent one or more ends of the circuit board to permit a rapid yet positive way to space apart individual wires, to hold them in place; and to permit welding or soldering of the wires to the appropriate connections or the circuit board during an overmolding process.

Abstract: Medical needle shield apparatus for covering a needle after use. In embodiments of this invention a shield with two or more segments hingedly connected to each other is movable from a retracted position where the needle is exposed, to an extended position where the shield extends beyond the end of the needle. The needle is affixed in a hub of a medical needle device, and the shield is articulated to the hub. At least one of the two or more segments has an open orifice through which the needle passes to form an axis of intersection about the needle. The shield includes a channel for covering the needle when the shield is linearly extended. One or more locks associated with one or more of the segments secures one or more of the segments relative to the shield in the extended position. A latch is also disposed on the distal segment for securing the distal segment relative to the shield when in the extended position.

Abstract: A method for covering a fireplace hearth includes: lifting a hearth guard, said hearth guard comprising a frame having at least four inner surfaces including a first inner surface, a second inner surface, a third inner surface, and a fourth inner surface; and placing the hearth guard on a fireplace hearth having at least four outer surfaces; wherein the first inner surface faces an opposing direction as the second inner surface; wherein the third and the fourth inner surfaces are orthogonal to each other and to the first and the second inner surfaces; and wherein when hearth guard is configured to be placed on the fireplace hearth such that each of the four surfaces of the frame faces an opposing direction of a respective outer surface of the fireplace hearth.

The system includes a point of sale system having at least one input device and a processor system.

Abstract: A temperature measurement apparatus allows for accurate temperature measurement in both the sun and the shade using two different thermal sensors. A black sensor has an infrared absorbent surface and a white sensor has an infrared reflecting surface. Using the measurements from these two sensors, a series of equations calculate the correct ambient temperature regardless of where the measurement device is located and ensures accurate readings using a performance check system.

At least one tucking tool (54) tucks the overhang of the overlaying layer (24, 28) into the peripheral slot (22) to fold the overhang over the peripheral slot (22) and thereafter tucking the overhang into the peripheral slot (22). The invention includes a method of sequentially folding and thereafter tucking the overhang of the overlaying layers (24, 28) into the peripheral slot (22).
