  • Publication number: 20240037055
Abstract: Multiple device stacks are interconnected in a ring topology. The inter-device stack communication may utilize a handshake protocol. This ring topology may include the host so that the host may initialize and load the device stacks with data and/or commands (e.g., software, algorithms, etc.). The inter-device stack interconnections may also be configured to include/remove the host and/or to implement varying numbers of separate ring topologies. By configuring the system with more than one ring topology, and assigning different problems to different rings, multiple, possibly unrelated, machine learning tasks may be performed in parallel by the device stack system.

  • Publication number: 20240024695
Abstract: Light energy is applied externally to the ear of a person suffering tinnitus and down the side of the person's neck below that ear. If both ears suffer tinnitus, then the other ear is treated in the same manner. The wavelength of the applied light energy is in the visible violet-blue range of about 400-500 nm. Preferably applied light energy is 405 nm±10 nm. The light energy is preferably laser energy and is supplied by a laser device that emits a line of light energy. The line of light energy is waved manually across a treatment area in a continuous, sweeping manner from about one inch above the person's first ear down the side of the person's neck below the first ear. Preferably the light energy is applied using a hand-held device so that a person can treat him or herself at home.

  • Patent number: 11875366
Abstract: In a computer-implemented method, telematics data collected during one or more time periods by one or more electronic subsystems of a vehicle, and/or by a mobile electronic device of the driver or a passenger, is received. The telematics data includes operational data indicative of how a driver of the vehicle operated the vehicle. The received telematics data is analyzed to identify driving behaviors of the driver during the time period(s). Based at least upon the driving behaviors, a driver profile is generated or modified. Based at least upon the generated or modified driver profile, a suggested vehicle type is identified, at least by determining that the profile meets a set of one or more matching criteria associated with the suggested vehicle type. An indication of the suggested vehicle type is displayed to a user.

  • Patent number: 11871917
Abstract: Systems and methods for preventing the seeding of cancerous cells during morcellation of a tissue specimen inside a patient's body and removal of the tissue specimen from inside the patient through a minimally-invasive body opening to outside the patient are provided. One system includes a cut-resistant tissue guard removably insertable into a containment bag. The tissue specimen is isolated and contained within the containment bag while the cut-resistant tissue guard protects the containment bag and surrounding tissue from incidental contact with sharp instrumentation used during morcellation and extraction of the tissue specimen. The cut-resistant tissue guard is adjustable for easy insertion and removal such that it securely anchors to the body opening. Protection-focused and containment-based systems for tissue removal are provided that enable minimally invasive procedures to be performed safely and efficiently.
