  • Publication number: 20250007606
Abstract: Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)-based bit error ratio (BER) calculations for reporting beyond a forward error correction (FEC) threshold include measuring signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of a first signal; extrapolating the SNR of a first signal to determine an SNR of a second signal; and determining a pre-FEC bit error rate (BER) for the second signal based on the determined SNR of the second signal. The process can further include reporting the determined pre-FEC BER. The measuring and extrapolating can be used when the second signal is beyond the FEC threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240391583
Abstract: Propeller control systems and methods for controlling the pitch of a plurality of propeller blades of a variable pitch propeller assembly operatively coupled with an engine is provided. In one exemplary aspect, the propeller control system includes features for combining overspeed and feathering protective functions in a protective control valve communicatively coupled with a controller. In such an event the controller controls the protective control valve to selectively allow a controlled amount of hydraulic fluid to flow to or from a pitch actuation assembly such that the pitch of the propeller blades can be adjusted based at least in part on the condition of the engine.

  • Patent number: 12100398
Abstract: Remote automated assistant component(s) generate client device notification(s) based on a received IoT state change notification that indicates a change in at least one state associated with at least one IoT device. The generated client device notification(s) can each indicate the change in state associated with the at least one IoT device, and can optionally indicate the at least one IoT device. Further, the remote automated assistant component(s) can identify candidate assistant client devices that are associated with the at least one IoT device, and determine whether each of the one or more of the candidate assistant client device(s) should render a corresponding client device notification.

  • Patent number: 11926345
Abstract: A system includes a vehicle and a vehicle control system configured to autonomously control one or more operations of the vehicle. The system also includes a navigation receiver configured to identify a location of the vehicle and to provide the identified location to the vehicle control system. To identify the location of the vehicle, the navigation receiver is configured to identify whether navigation signals received by the navigation receiver are spoofed based on angles of arrival for the navigation signals and to suppress any of the navigation signals determined to be spoofed. The navigation receiver may be configured to suppress any of the navigation signals determined to be spoofed in order to prevent an illicit actor from misdirecting the vehicle to an undesired location and/or to prevent an illicit actor from causing the vehicle to make course corrections based on an incorrect current location of the vehicle.
